After having attended a shabby looking office in February to discuss my will and POA I tried several times to contact them to no avail. Eventually in JULY I managed to speak to someone who assured me I would be contacted soon. I waited another 3 weeks and eventually spoke to the person I saw in February. Against mybetter judgment I settled for his word to get back within 36 hours. Having waited 72 more hours I’ve had enough. I’m taking my business elsewhere. Such bad professionalism.

Gordon Kemp has acted for various members of my family on numerous property purchases, remortgages and sale's, over the last 12yrs. Always acting in a professional and efficient manner. The level of service received has consistently bettered others that we have used.

Terrible for conveyancing

Had a terrible experience with this company, had questions which could not be answered all the time, when I asked for paperwork to be sent out I had terrible attitude off Gail who also threatened to take me to court if my fees were not paid when in every recorded phone call I had said I am paying the fees I just wanted some answers to my questions, would not advise anyone to go here and the professionalism is non existent, when I asked Gail if I could speak to someone higher up I got told they were not there and as I phoned back I got through to a partner in the company which was there the whole time, I asked for paperwork to be sent out so I could see it for myself and they just told me it is going to cost more money, they have no interest in helping customers just to make money for themselves.

We used Anthony & Jarvie for the purchase of our home and received excellent service throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble, and Gordon helped to make what can be a very stressful time, a very smooth and easy experience. Communication was excellent and we were kept updated as soon as there was a development. Things also went through very quickly our side. I would definitely recommend.

We used these solicitors in 2021 to purchase our house. There were some issues and frustrations but everything worked out ok, but we never received any paperwork. However it’s now 2023 and we are remortgaging. We are still waiting on our New Build Certificate from Gordon and it’s threatening our remortgage (with a different company). It’s been two years!

Gordon Kemp acted for us on the sale and purchase of our properties.He was very professional and responsive.In fact there was a delay in our chain and he was able to overcome the problem and sought a quick and successful solution.I found the firm very good value for money and not expensive for the service we received.I would have no hesitation in recommending him and would certainly use them again in the future.Excellent well done.

Very poor correspondence, my divorce was supposed to be a quickie, we paid the money but it has taken over 2 years. I still have not received my decree absolute and that was granted on the 12th August. I have had to chase them every step of the way.Very disapointed in their service
