Excellent place for families or even couples - there are adult only activities and family friendly ones.Everything is reasonably priced and you'll never run out of things to do! We hired bikes for a couple of days and explored!Wild discovery is amazing - especially the capys!!Would recommend to anyone!!

Wonderful place to visit. I haven't stayed here in the village for over 10 years and we stayed for the winter wonderland weekend. There's lots to do for the kids.We booked a few extra activities at a cost but only having 1 child it wasn't too bad however if we had more children it would be an expensive do. £25 per child for santa was expensive really but the kids do get to take a teddy elf home. The panto appealed to us was that also was an extra £12 each so we gave ut a miss and we noticed there was a lot of tickets available so maybe many other families thought this too, especially when it cost us £700 for the weekend. So this was the only draw back to the weekend really. The accommodation we stayed in was fisherman's reach number 8, and it was lovely overlooking the pond. It was lovely and clean and there was enough parking for 2 cars on our drive and very close to the entertainment. All the facilities were great and the staff very nice too. Would recommend. They also have the adults only spa hotel which is stunning. We've also stayed here before but its adults only. The spa is amazing! Definitely recommend this too.

Been here a few times around the Christmas period and the kids love it here. It's brilliant for young children and there is lots for them to do. And we will return next year.

Essentially a holiday village with all the bells and whistles from leisure centre to horse riding and fishing. Well layed out and quite big.However... We had a birthday party for 15 and yes we booked quite early at 6pm.the staff were helpful by allowing us to drop a cake off and some balloons etc which they sorted for us. So, price to food ratio.. Not great I'm afraid. Don't get me wrong, I had the beef and it tasted amazing but the portion was tiny for £19! My son in law ordered the 8oz serloin steak which ended up being half fat and so had a lot the meat" left over and for £30 that's very poor!If your looking for a nice quiet romantic meal I'd look elsewhere as its way to noisy. Even talking is difficult with all the kids running riot. I understand the policy is for parents to control their kids but be honest

Really impressed with it. We normally go centre parcs but decided to try this with having smaller children which we all thought was better. 4 adults 5 children loads of room in the cottage lovely and clean.

Really great place to come with family. Loads of activities during the day and plenty on site to keep children occupied with multiple parks for different ages, swimming pool with slides. Minus 1 star because I really don't like the late check in and early check out time, it robs you of 2 days because who wants to hang around with a full car and use the facilities when you can't go back to your accommodation.

From simple booking to efficient and friendly check in to fabulous cottage, incredible facilities, great dining, beautiful scenery and (sad) check out……we’ve had the best time.We are a family of 4 with a 10 YO and 14 YO. We booked this last minute due to being let down elsewhere and we can only be so grateful to Ribby Hall for saving the day. We initially wondered if the village was catered more towards younger children, but there is loads for older kids to do. Ours (and us) enjoyed bike hire, boat hire, zorbing, swimming, football pool, golf, walks, the arcade and plenty of good food. We found The Hive most convenient. The spar on site is great if you’ve forgotten anything.Staff have been fab, helpful and kind, the cottage is spacious and spotlessly clean (and I’m VERY fussy) with parking right outside. Honestly we are so grateful for an amazing week and have already booked again for next year. 10/10
