Wonderful vets, I actually enjoy going! Grace is so patient with my nervous, reactive rescue and is very happy to sedate him for his own well-being and to reduce his stress (and mine!). She doesn’t just care for the dog physically, but mentally too and is very experienced with behavioural issues. Very reasonably priced X-rays and medication. So glad I found this lovely vet.

Abbotswood have been looking after our spaniel for 11 years. They are warm, caring and very professional. They always fit her in quickly for an appointment and genuinely care about our dog's health. It's nice to use an independent vets as opposed to a chain who charge an absolute fortune. Would highly recommend.

I haven't had an appointment yet. I just registered my cats as we moved in this area.

Just registered our pets at Abbotswood vets. So far it's a big thumbs up. Lovely people. So lovely to find a vets with an old school feel- by that I mean the animals are the priority not profit. I had heard from others that they are good. Prices look reasonable in comparison to others. Initial check up ( no medical issues) was free of charge and really appreciated. Seemed to show genuine interest, not rushed etc. Really happy to be with them.

It's an independent practice & not owned by a corporate company, I've been using Abbotswood Vets for 4 years now.They give you good honest advice, they are very friendly & good at making your pets feel a ease, I wish I moved too them sooner.Plus the practice has just been taken over by Hannah as Patrick has semi retired.Don't just take my word give them a try.Great to see Patrick today, had a little chat and thanked him on behalf of us loyal customers for selling it to Hannah.And Fantastic news due to more clients registering there pets, and top quality veterinary care Hannah has taken on a very good new vet (Grace).And has just built a new consultation room.Congratulations to the staff for there care and dedication.

Very friendly vets recently lost my Guinea pig and they seen him straight away and also received a lovely letter for my loss haven’t experienced such a lovely vets before

The team at Abbotswood have been absolutely brilliant every interaction my family has had with them. They took time to answer our questions clearly and explain what was happening, the whole team were compassionate and caring, and they routinely go above and beyond to provide excellent and timely care. Given how much pressure vet services are under currently, this really shows the true passion and dedication of the team. The prices are very reasonable, especially for such an excellent and personal service. Would highly recommend.
