Lovely leisure centre, you can find everything you need from a well-equipped gym, to swimming pool, lovely & healthy food, sauna & steam room, fitness classes, tennis & badminton, creche, all in one place.

Fantastic club, always clean and a nice environment. Staff are always friendly. Would recommend to everyone!

This David Lloyd club has been abandoned by the group. It’s far below DL standards, with worn out equipment, benches and lifting platforms covered in black tape, minimal staff cover and a management team who admit they aren’t given any budget to repair and update. Sadly a once great club is spiralling, with membership plummeting and impressive gym competition nearby at a quarter of the price. A genuine shame.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Well there isn’t any customer service. Spent 2 weeks trying to adjust my membership as my son is now at university. Every direction they’ve sent me, has been been a dead end. Live chat through the app, emailing, calling the club, going into the club. For 2 weeks there’s been ‘nobody available’. The membership team apparently work from home and are far too busy for a call. Ironically they quickly sold me my membership of £310 a month in the club and it took all of 5 minutes there and then! The manager is never there (apparently) so constantly fobbed off with the ‘Duty Manager’ who it turns out was just in charge of health and safety and said it’s nobody’s job to run around after members finding them information if they can’t be bothered to do it themselves. He couldn’t understand why at this point I may be reluctant to ‘change my tone’. It’s game over for me. Happy to live without the atrocious food, the pool that’s closed more than it’s open and the diabolical management and save the £3710 a year. When I put it like that, who’s been the mug?!

Very good facilities and lovely helpful staff. Pool is maintained well and gym looks quite well equipped. Have not used it yet though. Lots of activities for children on weekends but got to book it eatly as most get fully booked. Only thing I would say is missing is indoor play areas for little ones like under 2s. I understand they have creche but its only few couple of hours on few days. We usualy go in the evening and when my son and husband goes to pool I just have to carry baby around in arms or pram as there is no area as such for little ones to crawl and play. They should have thought about it as many families would miss this. So we have to come back early and cant really spend a day over there.

The gym is nice, facilities are clean. Nevertheless, when the stormy weather hit all the gym was in water, they had towels in the floor because it were spilling on the machines and you couldn’t really use neither toilets neither showers. I am just thinking for 200£ month membership is it fit to see this happening on a bad rainy day?

Highly recommend the club for anyone looking to join. I am really enjoying the swimming pool and sauna. Staff are always really polite and helpful. Can’t fault!

Overpriced. Old facilities, pool area is 20+ years old with no refurb. Management show no interest in addressing complaints / bringing the club up to a decent standard.Photos showing the filthy/disgusting pool area.
