Stayed at the Duck hut with the children for a weekend and had an amazing time! Would certainly recommend as a quiet place to base yourself in this part of the Lakes

Relaxed site. Basic amenities (toilet and sink/water). We booked it last minute and it was just what we wanted. Lovely and peaceful place.

Stayed here at The Granary for a long weekend. Lovely views from the upstairs balcony and plenty of wildlife to see - even the chickens came to see us on the balcony too which was fun and the 3 pygmy goats were entertaining. A very well appointed cottage with plenty of parking. It's out me the way too so nice and quiet. Can highly recommend a stay here.

Great place! We enjoyed our visit and hope to return. My aunt suggested they put a screen door up as flys were a problem like any rural location. The Granary four poster was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped although the hob in the Corn Store wouldn’t boil a very big pan of water, overall the problems were surmountable and I’m looking forward to going again.

Beautiful place to stay, everything you could possibly need, so peaceful, with wonderful, unspoilt views,We were kept entertained by the chickens, knocking on the window, wanting to come in every day, the peacock and peahen and the cows that kept escaping, from their field, tranquil walks, didn’t want to leave, can’t wait to go back again, hosts were also wonderful. Highly recommend.

I have been fishing here twice before in a car and just paid for the fishing which was great, however, I booked to fish Friday and Saturday and to stop the night in my Motorhome. I was charged £20 just for stopping the night and £10 for the fishing, dearest car park I've ever used.

Absolutely beautiful....back to basics camping and very peaceful with fishing available..there is a toilet on site but that's it
