Megan Watson - Personal Stylist & Shopper

I came across Meg when I was in a real rut. Some of my clothes were decades old and I felt I’d lost my sense of self a bit. I decided to have Meg do a full wardrobe review and get her help to refill it with the right things to suit the me now and not the me from 20 years ago.It’s never easy to have a stranger in your house, let alone show them every garment you ever chose! Meg made me feel incredibly comfortable and the process of clearing those things that didn’t serve me anymore was actually a lot of fun and quite cathartic. Meg is really good at what she does and before I knew it, I had a cleansed wardrobe and was really looking forward to seeing what new clothes she’d choose for me.We did a physical shopping trip in central London (worth saying I hate shopping), Mel had a lot of things chosen and some bought, so a lot of it was about trying things on and not too much wandering round which suited me. We achieved in three hours what I never thought possible!The best thing is having someone suggest things for you that you would have never considered but being in total control and never feeling too influenced or remotely forced to agree.If you are in a bit of a rut like I was or just need a refresh, give Meg a ring, you won’t regret it.

Megan initially came to my home and helped me go through my wardrobe and then we went for a shopping trip a few weeks later. It was so helpful getting some guidance on what styles and colours to wear. Megan did an amazing job ahead of the shopping trip and pre-bought several items at great prices that were perfect for me. I love my shopping trips with Megan. It takes all of the stress out of shopping and saves me so much time! Meg has researched the shops before-hand and picked out key pieces for me to try. She knows my style and is sensitive to my body 'hang-ups', but will also encourage me to try things outside of my comfort zone, which often become favourite items. A friend recommended Meg to me and I am so pleased! I was a little nervous waiting for Meg to arrive when she came to do my wardrobe styling as I didn’t really know what to expect.But within minutes of meeting Meg I was put at ease. Meg is so down to earth, nonjudgmental and easy to be around. She “got me” in a very short time and understood what sort of look I was striving for (even if I couldn’t quite articulate it). It was so good going through my wardrobe with her. Apart from helping me work out what was missing and what needed to go, she opened my eyes to a lot of new outfit combinations with what I already had (including giving me the confidence to wear items in a way I previously would not have thought of). I am really looking forward to our shopping trip and would definitely recommend Meg.

I use Megan for an annual big shopping trip and then a few timesa year for clothes I need for specific events. Recently I needed 2 ballgowns for various Awards ceremonies. Megan shopped for an hour for me (£80) and I got a fantastic range of dresses of which I bought three! I loved the thought she put into to go with what suited me and also that she always takes into account my price range sharing inexpensive and more pricy items. Meg helped me initially when I had just had my second baby, and needed a confidence boost and wardrobe update. She was so helpful, kind and clever with her suggestions, worked within my budget, and left me feeling excited about my wardrobe. The whole experience was so enjoyable, relaxed and fun. Meg was fantastic. I needed a winter wardrobe update and it was already January. Meg pulled out all the stops to hunt down high-quality winter items to suit my colour and personal style with short notice. She did extensive research and presented me with a huge array of ideas and possible options to choose from. Meg is quick to understand your style and personality traits and match those with the clothes you are looking for. Highly recommend!

Meg was very good in how she approached the aesthetic of how I want to present myself and used my wardrobe well to help me achieve the looks I wanted for myself. We came up with a wishlist of items I needed to compliment my looks and achieve more. The wardrobe cleanse of items that don't suit me or I have outgrown as a person was very liberating too.
