I am extremely pleased with my experience of shopping at Yarn Loft. I received professional advice regarding yarn I needed for a project. Doreen even calculated for me how many skeins of yarn I would need and compared it for me between the two chosen options. This is the first physical shop in the area I found that has a good range of very good quality natural fibers yarn at different price points. I am also impressed with the range of accessories, needles, buttons etc. This was the first time I have been to the shop, but certainly not the last one.

I had a lovely experience in this shop yesterday and had a nice chat with the owner, who was super helpful. There is a huge variety of yarn on offer - way more than you would expect to find in a shop that is a little off the beaten track so I would definitely recommend going out of your way to visit. I’m looking forward to returning next time I’m in Nottingham.

I contacted The Yarn Loft a week ago through Facebook messenger and asked to be sent a mystery box. They told me to make an order. After thinking it over, they chose the most wonderful combination of yarns local to the UK that may not be available in the US. My package arrived just about a week later and I couldn't be any happier. Within a day they sent me an invoice and the yarn was mailed right away.Amazing customer service. If I ever travel to the UK, I know I have to stop by. Thank you so much.

Visited on holiday from the US and was looking for some local wool as a souvenir. Doreen has a great variety of British wool to pick from and was warm and conversational. Will definitely go back if in ever in the area again!

So many choices! Plus the very nice lady knows a lot about yarn and was happy to answer my questions and add me to their newsletter. I imagine I'm going to be back there as soon as I've finished the 3 projects I've already started. Probably sooner if I'm honest.

Fantastic place to spend a few hours. It's the knitting shop equivalent to a lovely candy shop. You will gorge yourself with quality yarns and patterns.
