Helping Hands Home Care Wakefield

I have been working at helping hands for about 2 months now and it has been absolutely amazing here. I quit my previous job after maternity leave as I wanted more flexible working hours and helping hands have accommodated this. The management are absolutely incredible and staff are so lovely and kind. Would highly recommend this company whether that be working for them or for anyone who requires support at home.

I have just recently joined the team of carers here at Helping Hands in Wakefield and I can honestly say it has been the best career move I could have ever made. The staff and support here is second to none, nothing is too much trouble.I found out about the company as they cared for my Grandpa, who also spoke so highly of them and all the carers. This made me want to join a team that cares so deeply about their staff and customers.Since joining the team I have had great training, as this is my first caring role, and amazing support throughout. I love going to work each day and meeting all the customers and supporting them in any way that we can. I highly recommended this company to anyone that needs extra support at home.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone at helping hands. Emma is absolutely wonderful and works extremely hard. She put in many many hours of work to help my Grandad including many calls from myself at all hours. With my grandad in and out of hospital nothing was too much for Emma she went above and beyond as did all the staff.The carers whom work at helping hands, we will never forget the care you all showed both him and us. I cannot thank you enough for not just my Grandad but also my grandma and for showing them both so much care and compassion especially in the last year of my grandmas life. For making them both comfortable and helping to ease the worries of the family especially in our time of grief.Although my grandparents were at first reluctant to have carers, they really needed the assistance due to deteriorating health. Immediately my grandmother absolutely loved the ladies and my grandfather, upon the passing of my grandma, really appreciated their company. They had nothing but fond words of all the ladies, especially Trudy and Beth.Our words will never repay everything helping hands have done for us as a family, there simply are no words. But I will always recommending them, 100 percent reliable trustworthy and hardworking. Thank you

I have worked for Helping Hands for nearly a year now. Helping Hands is the first care company I have worked for and I can honestly say the amount of time and effort they put into their staff and customers is amazing!I love my job with Helping Hands all the staff and customers are so welcoming and we all go above and beyond to give the best care possible for our customers.Nothing is ever too much for us, so if you need a little help with a loved one then give us a call and I am sure we will help you the best way possible as we do not do things by half!

Been at helping hands a couple of months now.The standard of care is extremely high its a hard job but extremely rewarding.Emma Maggie and Sarah ( managers) are always helpful they do ther le best to look after staff and clients.

I needed a mid morning care call for my disabled mum who can't stand unaided.I live with and care for my mum full time. Helping hands were so helpful and understanding, they managed to get a call in place quite quickly.The carer is polite and chats to mum before and after assisting her to the toilet.I feel happy and confident that I can leave the home for a few hours knowing mum will be well cared for while I'm gone.I am very glad we choose Helping Hands and would definitely recommend them.

Would recommended Helping Hands to anybody who is looking for a package of care, my process from start to finish was great. Me and my partner was looking for respite care when we went on a 2 week holiday, we had carers throughout the day and sleeps at night and my mum was extremly happy with the care she received and there carers took her out shopping and cleaned all the house for what we got back it was so nice. My mum sadly passed away a short time later so we had no need to use Helping Hands again but i would 100% recommended them.

Been working at helping hands for about 2 months and it’s by far one of the most amazing companies to work for. They work brilliantly around things that arise and are so amazing when you need help. Always on call to answer any questions, all customers are a pleasure to work with and make your day so much better! Absolutely love working here.

I've been looking for a cerer work for a while and I came across opportunity to work at helping hands.I was worried at first, because I have never done anything like that before.But the ladys in the office were so sweet and supportive.If you are struggling during your shift you can call them any time and they will help you out with anything.Emma, Sarah and Meggie - thank you guys for being amazing!

We employ helping hands to support my father for half an hour each day from our experience I would describe them as outstanding. Communication is excellent they are quick to alert families of any concerns or to discuss any problems. They respond quickly to any changes required. Documentation is fantastic we know exactly what has happened during the visit including dad's mood or attitude that day and how he has responded to the carer. It is reassuring to know they visit at roughly the arranged time give or take having had previous experience of a care company who in spite of any agreement visits could vary by an hour or two Helping Hands are reliable. Bravo for how they continued to manage during the recent snowfall. Thank you Helping Hands
