RCP Parking

Easy to get in and not that expensive compared to others.

You can create an online account and either pay in advance or pay within 15 mins of parking, all through the online account. Every rcp parking seems to have a 4 digit code displayed on the big board at the entrance. Enter either that or let the web app find your current location when you click on pay". That's all. No need to get a pay and display ticket and no need to touch those ticket vending machines which is a good thing during covid. The wardens have a device where they can enter the registration number and find out if you have paid or not.You will also get an email reminder 20 mins before the expiry of your parking timeslot.I used the one in Norwich and could easily find parking on a weekday around noon

Was a pain trying to pay online, it also charges you more on the app or online compared to paying in the car park

Cheaper and safer car parks exist. Especially at night! No night parking rates.

Used to be easy to park here, login to RCP and pay. They now use a secondary partner that requires yet another login and re-entering of the details that doesn't use location so make note of the 6 digit code on the board or copy and paste from RCP?. Worst of all they now take a 50p fee so advertised online prices are dishonest. Won't use RCP again.

My car was damaged today in Botolph Street car park. Looks like they tried to squeeze into a space that wasn't big enough and have scraped the rear bumper and wheel arch. They would clearly have known that they had done it, but of course didn't have the decency to leave a note. The spaces are not marked out and the car the other side had 'made' a space and was parked in front of the lamp post and sticking out into the road, also parked very close to my car making it difficult to get out.

Rarely full and decently priced for town. Tends to flood in wet weather and there's large holes that have only recently been filled.

Scruffy , abandoned toilets, come on Norwich Council you can do better than this. Ps a litter bin would help keep down the McDonald's wrappers.

It's OK, cheap and cheerful. They have done away with the 60p for 30 mins tariff which was handy if you are nipping in to get a few bits.
