OMG Bristol Bar

A bit shabby. But we made the mistake of going on a Tuesday night and it was a total of 6 people in the club including me and my friend. I think it could be fun if you go with a group.

In my opinion one of the better clubs in Bristol. Never much trouble. Good staff members who are friendly and always quite a few regulars who come here. I would suggest coming here if you want a nightout that isn't going to end in tears.Only thing I would say is the drinks are quite steep.

Wow had an amazing night last night, the atmosphere was so good and Alex the security guy made it, he was really funny and brilliant!

Tried to get in here Wednesday night with 2 friends (2 guys and 1 girl) after the England game.Security said we couldn’t come in because he didn’t recognise us…. Yet continued to let lots of people in after this.Sign in the door saying entry until 3:30am, this was at 1am.He then began to try and start an argument with us when we asked him what the reasoning was behind this.One of our friends joined the queue, had never been there before and was let in straight away because he wasn’t a “kn*b”.Felt very discriminated against and the security guy was so rude. Not a really good face for the business.If I were you I wouldn’t bother.

Three of us booked in via Facebook Messenger (as advised on their FB page) but when we arrived they had no record of us! No matter - after paying a £5 per person cover charge we were shown to our table. Despite being pretty tech savvy, we tried and failed - to access the OMG app. No matter - our servers were friendly and attentive and we started enjoying our night, fueled by a good selection of drinks - averagely priced for a city centre bar. The security guard constantly stood 2m away from us, watching the guests like a hawk. Everyone in the venue was talking, drinking and laughing. The venue was buzzing.After about 3 hours of us being there, sharing drinks and conversation, the guard approached us and told us to be quiet as we were the 'smallest and also loudest' group. This immediately put a dampener on our evening. We asked to speak to the floor manager and were ignored. We asked again, managed to speak to the floor manager and asked her if we could move tables as we felt very uncomfortable being sat next to where the guard was stationed. She said she would get back to us. We were then completely ignored. Our empty glasses were collected. Our table service ceased. The 'friendly and attentive' staff were no more. All because we had talked too loudly. We left the second we finished our drinks. We would've stayed there and spent more money had the issue been dealt with in a sensible and mature manner.Conclusion: The only redeeming features were that the staff who actually did the serving were very pleasant (to a point) and that the drinks were of a passable quality. However, I will never return to OMG Bar, and I will never go to OMG Club after this terrible customer service. If you want to have a pleasant evening without the risk of being punished like a rambunctious school child in a library, go somewhere - literally anywhere - else.

Love OMG Bar, especially on a Sunday! Really quick service, friendly and attentive staff/security and cocktail choices are brilliant

The bar felt shabby and sticky. The staff was unwelcoming and condescending. We were coerced into booking through their app which collects personal information and forces you to check in to their Facebook page to get likes, blatantly ignoring that people might not be out to their Facebook contacts.Also, the menus on the app do not reflect what the bar actually has.

Great tunes, good atmosphere. Only gets good after 1:30 - 2pm the crowds a bit student on the Friday ut the Saturday more mixed.

When there on Sunday, had good time quite but we made the most of it. Love the dance floor cheesy but fun
