I parked here on Good Friday, the barriers were up and the tariff board was advertising free parking on bank holidays so I took advantage of it for work that day. Left late evening, the barriers were still up but they prompted me with a £7.20 day fee to pay - obviously I didn't pay this and just drove off. Parked there again on Saturday for work, came back late evening and was expecting to be charged the £2.20 Saturday fee, but was met with a £9.40 fee with it saying I had parked there for over 24 hours! Do not advertise free parking on bank holidays if you are then going to penalise people for parking there on those days!

After visiting the theatre. Arrived car park 10.10pm. Queued 15 minutes to pay in the freezing cold. Then sat in the car for 40 minutes. When we got the barrier, it didn't open. I pressed the help button and was let through. However many others wrre having to pay again. Ruined a lovely evening

Parking for theatre is convenient but be aware last night after concert our car was stationary for 40 mins before we started moving then a further 18 mins before we left the car park. Ruined the evening.

Never have trouble finding a space, and it is close enough to town.Price seems very reasonable, but the payment system needs much better signage and is extremely confusing.

Queued for nearly 90 minutes to pay! Following an evening at the theatre, for which this car park is very well situated, only 1 machine was working so it was a very long wait in the cold with my young daughter. Not good!

St Johns Car ParkSpacious, easy to go around. Card machines accept both cash and cards. Unfortunately they’ve changed the charges. It’s not any more free for the first 2 hours as it used to be... nevertheless is less expensive then street parking

Does what it says on the tin but the weekend charges are guesswork tho. One good point is they don't have an overnight lockdown like some in Northampton do.It is a rather pretty building with vines growing attractively up its flanks. Possibly the prettiest multistorey I have seen.

Good multistory car park in the centre of Northampton, which is ideal for The Royal and Derngate Theatre.Plent of levels with generous parking spaces, that are well lit and make you feel safe. Prices are not that bad for parking.

I have used this three times recently since they changed their system. Never again- you wait for literally hours to get out if after a theatre event, the place is busy!
