My favourite place to visit. Walk over the new bridge to the beach with huge sand dunes. I always visit the Harbour Lights Cafe/Bistro. The food is excellent. On a fine day, sit out overlooking the boats in the bay. Recommend the kedgeree with a glass of wine. (Reminder. No drink/driving in Scotland!)

Lovely sand beach, high winds, good view, saw people are swimming in the nearby areaThe public toilets were closed, the nearest co-op has no washrooms too.May need to go to a restaurant then to use a washroom

This was our first visit to Lossiemouth, a beautiful clean sandy beach with sand dunes, excellent place to take the kids or walk the dog.

We love Lossiemouth because it has a small range of independent shops where you can get everything you need for a trip to the beach - ice cream, snacks, meals, etc. the walk along East Beach is stunning. There are various picnic spots, strategically placed benches where you can sit awhile and enjoy the view, and dramatic scenery. The new bridge across to the sand dunes is a welcome addition after the old bridge blew away.

Beautiful beach, so glad the new bridge is open and the beach is accessible again. We come here on holiday every year and haven't been able to get onto the beach for a while. Its just opened again and it's great!

Beautiful beach accessed from Lossiemouth via a bridge over the River Lossie. If you want solitude just keep walking along the beach for 5-10 minutes and you’ll soon leave the crowds behind.

Unable to get to this beach unless you have a surf board to get across the River Lossie, due to the bridge being out of action. From what you can see the beach looks pretty amazing, golden sand & sand dunes, great place to surf & paddle board or just look for dolphin's

This beach is as vast as it is beautiful. Even on a damp day you can enjoy the fresh sea air filling your lungs. Now that the new bridge is open (and a great bridge it is) access is very easy. There is plenty free car parking in Lossiemouth. The beach is quite a few miles long and it is worth checking the high tide times so you don't get caught out.
