I have been doing Karate & Kickboxing with this club along with my 2 children for 8 years and we are very proud to be part of such an awesome club. It is a very friendly club whether you are a student or just waiting for your children to finish, the club is like a family. We do belt systems in both disciplines so you earn each belt which is a great feeling of self achievement. We also compete at local, European and World competitions. Sensei De Silva and the instructors are enthusiastic, friendly and love passing on their knowledge to their students. Since joining the club my self confidence and self esteem has grown so much and have made some wonderful friends and memories. The children have grown so much in confidence and have evolved into knowing what they want out of training and in life, especially my eldest who is ASD/ADHD and his training has become such a big part of his life.

A great club with the right balance of education, fun, and competitiveness.I would recommend the club to anyone wanting to simply learn something new or wanting to be a World Champion!

I have personally been training at the club for over 10 years now. It gave me a purpose outside of school when I was child, and I still continue to attend as an adult training 4/5 times a week.It is more than just a martial arts club. It teaches you to have certain traits like discipline, commitment and perseverance which aided me as a child and continue to help me to better myself as an adult. My daughter has been attending NKMA, for just under a year now.Sensei Saj, the instructors and the people that attend the sessions, show one another respect and support at each and every session and at the competitions they compete in.It’s like one big family and it’s lovely to watch them all welcome my child, like they do so many every week.More importantly, my daughter not only feels safe and happy attending these sessions, she is growing in confidence and unlocking skills she never knew she had.They teach the children so much more than Karate.

My 6 year old daughter has been attending since October and absolutely loves it. It’s such a lovely club that is so welcoming and brilliant with the little ones.

My daughter goes here and really enjoy it. Her confidence has grown and has even won a few medals which she is so happy about! The standard of teaching is really good. The younger children play really interactive and fun games and then progress through and as they do so it becomes more structured and challenging as they work through their belts. We have recommended to a number of her friends who are now also gradually joining up.

This is a great club for the whole family. My son has been going for nearly 10 years and my daughter joined soon after. I would sit and wait for them to finish and decided I might as well give it a go. Gave me confidence and also extra time with the kids. We have all made life long friends of all ages and the kids get involved in charity work and fun days out with the club. It's a great club to be part of.

It's a really good club. The instructors are full of enthusiasm. Kids are trained in small groups depending on their level, so children can make a big progress. I really recommend it.

The club is welcoming and supportive. The staff are friendly and encouraging. It's not just about learning karate they also support the students in being well rounded people, installing a good work ethic, team workng, taking personal responsibility, making good choices, good physical as well as good mental health. There are various venues and session times to choose from. I would definitely recommend it.

I cannot stress the family feel of this club, as a member for many years I have never felt so welcome at any other club or social events. Between the amazing Sensei Saj de silva and the equally amazing coaches you will improve your fitness and learn how to point fight in karate as well as self defence techniques. Each lesson costs around £5 and I would highly recommend checking one out.
