We're very happy with the work Stuart did in our house. We needed sockets and a light in a dark under stairs cupboard. Stuart was timely, friendly, tidy and did a great job. He also fixed a dimmer socket. Next time we have a job, we'll definitely call MJ Electrical again.

Stuart Jones of MJ Electrical spent approximately 5 hours rigorously inspecting and testing the domestic electrical system for an EICR Report in my 5 bedroomed house. He found a serious miswiring fault from original installation in 1981 that was potentially very dangerous plus a number of other faults another one of which was quite serious. These defects were meticulously searched out and corrected subsequently over two full days with the miswiring diagnosed and a suitable effective repair devised and implemented. Mr Jones arrived on time, worked long and hard, cleaned up after himself was trustworthy and reliable and did an excellent professional job the end result being that the electrical installation was confirmed as being satisfactory with the appropriate NICEIC Certificates being promptly issued. I would not hesitate to recommend this contractor to carry out any electrical works from the simple and straightforward to the more complex.

Stuart was responsive, courteous and helpful. We asked for guidance, support and installation of the required cabling needed for an AC unit. Stuart delivered over and above what was needed and we are very grateful for the work he has done.

I have used Stuart for several years for electrical work (as do two of my relatives), including installing a new light fitting for me this week. It's great to have him at hand and we very much appreciate the quality of his work, helpful manner and reliability. Thanks Stuart

Stuart helped connecting our new summer house to the electricity from the main house. He fitted lights (inside and outside), 4 sockets inside the house and a waterproof one on the outside. All very professionally done at reasonable cost. I'll be definitely using Stuart again for any future electrical work.

I've used Stuart twice now, first when remodelling a kitchen involving relocation of multiple sockets and kitchen appliances, and more recently when performing emergency repairs to drilled-through wiring. I've always found him extremely professional, knowledgeable and totally reliable. Fabulous service!Very reasonable quotation indeed for replacing/relocating bathroom lights/switches. Stuart and Sophie arrived at exactly the time promised and set to work immediately. Some unforeseen problems encountered - caused by previous builders, I hasten to add - however they offered solutions to everything.The quality of their work is simply superb and our bathroom now looks better than we ever imagined - and they are friendly, delightful people.We have used various electricians over the years with varying results, well not any more, MJ Electrical will now be our 'go to' company.

Stuart replaced my electric panel after I bought my house. He advised the one I had was old and didn't meet regulations and would have been the case for many years. He quoted for the work, and arrived on time was very tidy and accurate exactly as quoted. he has done a few jobs for me now because I was so happy with his professionalism and work. He is also very COVID aware, so you don't feel at risk when he has to come into your house as he is extremely diligent with the wearing of a mask and maintaining distance, unlike some other work people I have had in the house in recent months. Very pleased and will use him in future all the time.
