Gemma Armstrong Hair and Makeup

Gemma was absolutely excellent, she listened carefully and helped me select the right look for my wedding day. I felt amazing after the trial and on the day she was calm and collected. Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure I had the names of the products so I could purchase them in advance to use once she had gone. Gemma also did all the make up for my bridesmaids who looked stunning.

Gemma was absolutely lovely, she was calm, funny, supportive to the bride to be! (I think I can say she’s finally seen it all with Beth!) ;-)My make up was beautiful same as my hair which stayed all day, thank you, thank you!Sorry the only proper photo I got of myself was this one so doesn’t show the beautiful job she did on my hair but everything was fantastic!Would highly recommend xx

Gemma was incredible from the first day I messaged her about doing hair and make up for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding just gone (22.10.22).We did the trial in her home studio and she made me feel at ease instantly, she also let take a good few breaks to feed my little one.On the day she was so patient with me and my girls (and the kids running around). Everyone's hair and make up was perfect, honestly felt we like princesses and she even squeezed in some sparkles on my neice.Would recommend any day of the week and will for sure use again if I ever feel like glamming up.

Gemma did my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as my mother's and Maid of Honour's. She did an excellent job and I would highly recommend. Each of us have very different skin tones and hair types and nothing was too much trouble. She has the ability to just look at a picture of a hairstyle or makeup design and copy it perfectly. I don't wear much makeup at all and she was able to look at my colouring and my dress and come up with something that would compliment both perfectly. Thank you Gemma!

Gemma is incredibly passionate about makeup artistry, she seriously knows her stuff and is an absolute joy to spend some time with too! I booked Gemma for a make-up lesson and advice on products to buy. A makeup bag revamp felt long overdue and I wanted expert guidance on what sort of products are best for me as well as how to apply them and build up a look for both daytime and black tie events. At first I wondered if it was a little self indulgent to book this kind of thing for myself, but I’m SO glad I did! Gemma has guided me on how makeup has changed over the years (it’s been a long time since I learnt to put makeup on!) and carefully adapted her professional processes and products to suit a normal, non-professional person’s needs.
