Outer Limits Tattoo piercing and laser studio

I had my first tattoo from Kirsty at the Outer Limits Studio 23 years ago and I've been back to the mighty blue shop for more, many times since then. I'm currently having more work added around that first tattoo over 2 decades later.It's a very big deal getting your first tattoo. I remember it like it was yesterday, and Kirsty was so patient, calm and reassuring. She made sure I was fully as ease throughout and went the extra mile to ensure I was 100% happy with her work. Nothing was too much trouble. And after all these years, Kirsty is still exactly the same! Nothing's changed. Recently been back into the very talented Kirsty for another tattoo, she is amazing, her work is first class, I am very nervous and she is always so patient and spends the time with me to get my tattoo perfect, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. In Kirsty, I trust. Been a regular visitor to Kirsty over many years and going to another tattoo artist isn't an option for me as I love her work not to mention she's a great person! While I know what I want, it is great to have input from the artist doing the work and I've never been disappointed with any of Kirsty's suggestions or wee tweaks - I've always been delighted with the end result which is good as it's there for a long time. The care and attention given before the actual inking process is fantastic, only fools rush in and that won't happen at Outer Limits. I have no reservations in recommending Kirsty.

Great experience getting a lobe and nose piercing done with the bestie. The owner was a delight and highly professional, carefully walking us through how to care for our fresh piercings. 10/10, would not hesitate to use again.

I walked in on a whim to enquire about hair removal - I wasn't sure if suitable for fine hairs, and wanted to be sure before making an appointment. The lady said she was busy and asked me to phone instead. I called the next day, trying to briefly explain my situation, but was given the same response - several other people waiting in the shop, please just make an appointment. I hoped for the best and agreed, but a few days later, after doing more research, I had more doubts about the suitability of the treatment. Wondering whether I should cancel a full appointment (and not wanting to prepare unnecessarily by not shaving for weeks in advance!), I tried once more in the shop, hoping to show and explain to her why I had doubts about the treatment (and therefore the appointment). She appeared from the back, looked at me briefly and said my hair looked too fine, but reminded me of my appointment next week, asked me to 'please not do this to her' while she had a customer in, then left me standing there, after less than 2 min conversation, unsure what to do. Perhaps great for tattoos or when you know exactly what you need, but she seems constantly harassed, and unable to make the time to listen outside a formal (I presume chargeable) appointment.

I went to Outer Limits for my rook piercing and I can't recommend Kirsty highly enough.Even though I already have piercings, Kirsty still went through everything that was going to happen to make sure I was happy, and even though piercing is not really a gentle procedure, Kirsty was very gentle and very quick so it was all over and done with as quickly and painlessly as possible!Kirsty also went through all the aftercare with me and recommended an aftercare lotion which has worked really well, and I am very happy with my new piercing which has healed brilliantly :)

Recently had yet another tattoo done by the amazing Kirsty B, been coming here for over 18 years now and she is without a doubt the best there is, had a few small tattoos done elsewhere in the past as gifts from friends but unfortunately they are just not the same quality as the work that is done by Kirsty. She has even spent the time sorting out some of the work I had done elsewhere and didn’t like. The studio itself is so welcoming and lovely, the hygiene levels are fantastic, kirsty always spends the time needed with you to make sure you get the tattoo that you want, her line work is fantastic and the designs she produces are amazing, I really cannot recommend this place enough. 5 starts without a doubt!
