The Sewing Studio

The lovely ladies at the Sewing Studio worked wonders on my wedding dress for me this summer. It was rather large for me and had some complicated embroidery but they put me at ease that I had nothing to worry about. (What every soon to be bride needs to hear) The dress fit me like a glove just like I had hoped and made me feel a million dollars. Would highly recommend!

When my wedding dress first arrived I was quite disappointed because it didn't fit well and wasn't what I was hoping it to look like. Well...all I can say is that Ruth and her team at the Sewing Studio really are miracle workers!! After my first visit I left feeling so relieved and reassured that they would be able to alter it to how I wanted it to be. Just a few weeks later I returned for my final fitting and I can honestly say I was blown away by the results! My dress looked absolutely stunning and what they had managed to achieve in such a short time really was incredible. From that moment on I was so excited for the big day to arrive and when it did I had so many lovely comments from my guests about how beautiful it looked.Ruth and her team are true professionals and right from the very start until the wedding day was over provided excellent service and support. I couldn't recommend the Sewing studio enough. I reached out to Lorna and Ruth for alterations on my wedding dress. My dress had a beautiful heavy lace bodice but it was too big for me. I was so worried that it would not be possible to alter due to the material but they worked their magic and it was even more perfect then I could have imagined. They went above and beyond every step of the way and were so friendly and helpful. They also did the alterations for my five bridemaids and each of the girls were so happy and looked amazing. They were friendly, professional and ever so talented. I would give more than five stars if I could. So chuffed.

Needed a wedding guest outfit altered for my niece's wedding and wow what can I say - a fantastic service all round. I brought my wedding dress around six months before the big day in Something old, something new in Hythe, Hampshire. I was recommended to use the sewing studio by this bridal shop. I was really worried about tripping in my wedding dress as I do not normally wear a dress, I also found that the bra cups on my wedding dress felt quite big. The sewing studio were great at making me feel at ease and answering any worried that I had. When I went back for my final fitting, I was blown away at the transformation. They done a great job at making me feel confident. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have their wedding dress fitted.
