Great green space with a lovely park. Visited to see the work being done for the Gloucester Urban Greening Project:“At Banebury Road public open space (POS) it's intended to retro-fit a Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) through the park to create wetland features whilst improving habitat, water quality and surface water management. For the wider area to introduce a wildflower meadow with elements of native tree planting to compliment the area.”Think it’s going to be fab when it’s complete!

Good size play area for the kids with large play field and great walks up towards Robinswood hill only a few yards away. Lots of handy parking.

It's a lovely clean play area more suited to 7 & under , however the large grass area is perfect for every activity and age. Lots of dog walkers, all cleaned up after their dogs
