Great little craft brewery set in a cozy little courtyard. The beers we tried were excellent. Especially the strata single hopped Lupulin hazy pale.

Turned up for a pint of pipes and they were booked out for a wedding! Great for pipes but a wasted journey for punters. A bit of warning on your social media wouldn’t go amiss.

Loved this little gem! The beer was great, their Lupulin pale was the highlight of our whole trip (including the fact that we went to Bristol craft beer festival afterwards!). The lady serving was very friendly and it's a great venue with other little independent businesses in the alley way. Nice chill place to spend the afternoon

This is a great little spot. We visited on a winter’s afternoon. Unfortunately there was only one fire brazier out as it was pretty cold but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the beer and hot mulled cider from this micro brewery. Great atmosphere down the whole alleyway. Food stalls here are also tops.

Used to love to go to Pipes (good beer/good location to be fair), but unfortunately the last time we were there it was really upsetting. We got in the queue before the time they close to buy some beer to go and after a while in the queue the person in front of us (a customer, not even the staff) told us that they were shutting down and we weren't going to be served anymore - In a really rude way. I, personally, think it was really rude of the staff not even telling us or asking us what we were going to have. Didn't like at all the situation, was really awkward. So we left and don't feel like coming back after that.

An absolute gem of a micro brewery, a great tasting range with occassional experimental brews. All served by a great team in a great location.

Disappointed in myself for failing to spot or appreciate the wonderful Kings Road Yard in Pontcanna where @pipes brewery is also located.Great vibe, full of locals of all ages, with the love of community and locally brewed beer. On a Saturday afternoon, after an excellent lunch at Tom Simmons, to sit in the late summer sunshine with a pint of Pipes American IPA takes some beating. Simply glorious.

Very decent beer & a nice little yard to imbibe in. Few yummy mummy types at the eateries that share the space.

Brilliant beer! There's always a great selection in bottle to take out. Be sure to check out what's on tap every Friday 4pm - 9pm and the first Saturday of the month they are open all day. Great atmosphere! Well worth venturing off the beaten track for a visit if you're in town.

A nice relaxed place to have a couple beers with my old friend Ian. Early on a Friday evening. Very simple - wooden benches outdoors in an old industrial yard, some under cover. Pleasant staff. You can see the brewing equipment. They don't have traditional British beer and didn't have the Czech style pilsner lager when I visited but they had a modern hoppy IPA for Ian and one more traditional lager for me (Mexican?), both at £5.50 and we both liked our respective drinks. Crisps at £1 a packet not as expensive as many trendy bars or pubs now. I didn't try the pizza that was on that weekend, or the Asian type street food but it all looked very good and I will try it another time.
