Very moody and patronising service from the so-called geniuses.I ordered a power adapter online, got a message saying it was ready to collect. So I popped in to pick it up, and when I got it I realised that the adapter doesn’t come with the cable to connect it to the laptop. I asked about getting the cable to go with it but was told that the person I was dealing with couldn’t help me and I needed to go and speak to somebody else.Subsequently waited around for 15 minutes for the other person to speak to me, and when I finally got the chance to talk, I asked him if he could just please tell me which cable I needed. He was incredibly rude, said no of course they don’t come with the cable you can tell that by looking at the box (I thought this was rather unnecessarily flippant!). He then pointed at the shelf and simply said “cables are over there, you want USB C” in the direction of the shelf with a selection of about six different possible cables of many different lengths, colours and power ratings. He then turned away from me and started serving another customer.I understand that the shop may be quite busy, but there really is no need for such disinterested and patronising treatment to a customer who has just spent £70 on a power adapter and then found out they need to spend another £30 on the cable just to connect that adapter to the relevant machine.

A standard Apple Store full of really helpful, knowledgeable staff. My only slight complaint is that the store isn’t big enough to have the full range of Apple products.

Horrible customer service, the people at the Genius Bar are rude and don’t seem to care at all. Even if you have a defective item, that was defective from the start but the defect hasn’t shown up till now they will still try and charge you £150 for a repair! The staff are rude and the shop is always so packed so they make you wait hours

Too many stairs to climb to get to purchase. Should have the option to remain in ground floor and staff retrieve things for you. Not always offered to customers.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service was terrible, came in looking for a simple replacement and was directed to several different staff members who all seemed like they couldn't care less, only to be told that id need to book an appointment in order to buy a replacement?? Not worth the hassle at all when plenty of other tech shops will offer the help and advice you need far quicker with much more kindness

It is well stocked, Staff is very friendly but not well trained, unable to efficiently perform some basic tasks like back up your new iPhone, took hours there, did not work! Just took phone back to hotel and did it myself. Also bought a brand new iPhone cover- defective- unresponsive to button press- will have to return today adding costs of taxi to time waste and frustration- again staff super sweet and courteous , but need more tech training

Never again will I purchase an Apple product - here's why-I have owned 3 Apple MacBooks over the last 15 years. For the most part, I have enjoyed using them and have found the premium charged for Apple products to be just about worth it.Not any more.I had a slight accident with the screen of my 2017 13 inch MacBook Pro last week and booked a repair at the genius bar. This process was smooth and straightforward. The advisor I spoke to in store was helpful. I explained from the start that I had had a third- party hard drive installed 18 months previously. At no point was it mentioned that this would likely significantly increase the cost of my screen repair.Today I had a text saying I needed to get in touch with Apple. I did so and was informed that rather than the £500 quoted to repair the screen, I was now going to be extorted for an additional £300 simply because I had had the temerity to have a third-party hard-drive installed at a non-Apple repairers*!I should reiterate that this is a laptop that is now 6 years old and only came with 250 GB to start with, which was not upgradable. As someone who runs their own business and tries to deal with customers fairly and honestly, I simply cannot believe this policy & its pettiness.I will never again purchase any Apple product and will broadcast my opinion and reasons for my opinion to every person I know.Ridiculous.* For those people looking for a reasonably priced repair who don't wish to be bound by Apple's cynical approach to warranties and proprietary add-ons, I can personally recommend the reliable and very competitively priced services of both:iSmash (Broadmead - replaced a battery perfectly well), andTantra Mac (Brislington - upgraded the hard drive to 1 TB without issue).

A while ago, my friends phone died and we couldn’t turn it back on. They have severe anxiety and needs to be in contact with people. We rushed to the Apple Store as it was closing. They so kindly let us in and offered their help to try find out the problem. They’re understanding and kindness will not be forgotten. I cannot thank the staff enough for what they did.

My first visit to Apple Support was rather disappointing. I had high hopes that the Apple team would assist me in resolving my MacBook issue. However, I was surprised to find that there was no effective appointment system in place. Even after booking an appointment, the waiting time extended from 1 to 2 hours. This prolonged wait left me frustrated and dissatisfied with the service. Overall, my experience with Apple Support was far from satisfactory.
