Managed to get close enough to a heron but it saw me and my dog so it flew further down the river and every time I got close it moved further away so had to take the photos from afar it may not look big but close up it was about 2 foot high so a young heron

Lovely quiet place for a calm walk/cycle.Could do with a touch more care from Council (vegetation control and maintenance).
