Wife had used them for MOT but when car developed grinding from brakes she popped in, they checked the car was safe to use and booked in for the work later that week.New disks and pads fitted and happy wife, they also noticed a headlight out that we forgot to mention and had changed the bulb.Reliable, well priced and conscience.

My partner had his annual service done by this garage yesterday and we were both appalled by the service. Firstly they charge £445 for a service which is outrageous other garages charge at least half the price. Even the official car garage where the car was bought didn’t cost this much.This is the first issue, but this cannot be changed unfortunately, we had the work done so it had to be paid. However, my partner was quoted £400 at the start of the day, when he got to payment at the end of the day he was charged £445 with no explanation.The next point which is the main reason for leaving this review… THEY LOST THE KEYS!!!My partner went to collect his car and he was told the keys had been lost and the car is unlocked. I almost thought it was a joke. A car garage losing the keys to the car they have been given to carry out a service which we have paid an extreme amount for.Not only do we feel that we have been ripped off with the amount charged they caused panic by losing the keys!My partner went back to work while they looked for the keys… about 40 minutes later he called the garage to find out if they’d found his keys and the response he got was …” oh yeah mate we found them about 10 minutes ago”…. Thanks for letting us know!How do we know the keys haven’t been cloned? No explanation of where the keys were, no apology, nothing.Awful communication, awful service, unprofessional, extremely overpriced.Avoid avoid avoid

Excellent professional garage.Always use. i. trust them totally with my car & they always keep me up to date with what they find upon inspection. Always address what needs doing first & they are mindful of my budget.

My favourite local independent garage. I've been there for several little faults on my 15 year old VW Transporter, and always had the impression of them being professionals that know what they are doing. Service is always kind and prompt. Highly recommended!

Took my van for an MOT, found everyone at Wheelbase to be amazing friendly and helpful. Failed on wiper blades, but they let me go buy a set.. they fitted them for me and passed the van. Cannot recommend them enough.. I have 3 vehicles and they will be getting my business going forwards. Don't change your current approach, you have nailed it.

The best garage for servicing, MOT and car repairs. Itemised billing, serving reminders, preemptive advice for upcoming issues in a non-patronising, non-masogynistic manner, and the provision of courtesy car. Oh, and they're friendly too. Been taking all the cars to them for over 15 years.

Fantastic service from these guys, we were in a bit of a pickle with our motorhome and these guys managed to fit us in, source some welding work at short notice and got our holiday back on track.Super helpful, not just to us but while sitting and waiting I was really impressed with the way they dealt with the other customers.Could not fault their service.Thanks again Jamie and team.

Spoke to Jamie about a fault on my motorhome - he pointed out that it was under warranty and instead of booking it in and taking my money, he suggested an alternative garage that could fix it under the warranty. Good old fashioned honesty. Very pleased and will consider for future repairs due to trustworthiness.
