Mitch has treated myself and my daughter and is always very thorough and measured with his approach. He is always methodical and motivated to get to the bottom of an issue and details the treatment plan in a way I can understand. He is always reassuring and as always keen to help!

I've struggled with recurring calf problems for several years. I thought I was doing everything right – stretching, warming up, wearing supportive inner soles I'd been given by a specialist. But 3km into every run, without fail, my calf would go *ping*. And I'd have to limp back home and spend the next two weeks recovering. It came to a head recently when I experienced pain so bad I could barely walk. So I decided to do something about it. I limped into Mitch's quirky little clinic in Hove park and spent an hour with him, taking things right back to basics and getting to the root of my problems. He asked loads of great questions, explained technical concepts in simple everyday terms, encouraged me to unlearn some unhelpful ideas and habits, and quickly identified where things had been going wrong for me. I left with a shopping list (including a magic foam roller and running shoes with much heavier cushioning), some daily strength and flexibility exercises to follow, and strict instructions to rest for 10 days. After that, I could start running again – carefully and gradually building back up to full intensity. Well, after 10 days of following Mitch's advice religiously, I went for my first run a couple of weeks ago. I was really nervous before going out, as I'd become so used to getting injured and I couldn't bear having to go through the recovery process yet again. I was initially going to run for just 5 mins, as Mitch had advised. But things felt good, so I kept going. And I managed 20 minutes of continuous movement at a steady pace, with no discomfort at all. Since then I've done several more 5ks, at something close to my usual pace, and I haven't once felt like my calves were going to flare up. I can’t tell you what a joy and relief it's been to get home each time in one piece. Running and exercise is huge for my mental health – so I'm incredibly grateful I can now get back to doing something that makes me feel so good. All in all, an hour very well spent – thanks again, Mitch.

I visited Mitch for a course of treatment after ankle reconstruction surgery, with Mitch having meticulous attention to detail, progressing me with individual movements and mobility swiftly and safely. In only four weeks of coming out of my cast, I was running 10km pain-free. I can’t recommend Mitch enough.

Mitch has helped me out on several occasions. He always looks at the full picture and makes sure he not only treats the issue but sends me off with new stretches and ideas to help me. He also gives me tips and ideas to assist with my running which are always really helpful. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.

This is the man to see when you are injured (he is the very best), but you don’t need to be injured to see him. Go just to get a proper (hard) massage and have a chat. I always come out feeling 10 years younger with a big smile on my face and my back has never been better. Don’t delay, go today!

I recently went to see Mitch as I hurt my shoulder working out at home. After my treatment, which included some remedial taping of the area, the pain had practically vanished and I am feeling so much better. I cannot recommend Mitch highly enough. Thank you!!!!

Mitch was recommended to me and I'm glad I went the extra distance to see him. Very quickly he got me mobilized and my mindset addressed too, feeling much more positive and in charge of my back health too. I'd definitely recommend Mitch for back pain and other therapy and exercise and rehabilitation programmes too. Thanks Mitch!

I've been to see Mitch for two issues: whiplash to my back and a knee patella injury. Both times Mitch has supported my personal goals and worked towards getting me to the 'start line' instead of only suggesting extended periods of recovery and rest. He balances his treatments and advice with proactive decisions around when is the right time to recover around your racing calendar. I will continue to use Mitch based on my excellent experiences so far.
