Shane's Castle
Visited for the steam rally. My better half, and her brother attended with me. A fabulous time was had by all. Lots of great memories from childhood. The castle ruins were also great to look around.Other half was just upset that the train has stopped running.Definitely worth a visit.

Great Steam rally. Stated for four days in MoHo. Entertainment and craic was mighty.

Great place and stunning views of the lake. I didn't go around the whole area. Just a quick visit to the castle. On the way past the entrance we passed a lot of sheep on either side of the road. I was amazed at their abundance and the absence of any barriers between them and the cars. Be careful while driving. Maybe next time I'll explore the place more.

Events at Shane's Castle are always good. On this occasion I didn't actually go into Shane's Castle, it was a canoe trip with Make Your Own Adventure.

Love going to Shane's Castle Steam Rally every year to get a walk around the castle. It's just a pity that the grounds are not open to the public between events. ☹️
