I took part in an afternoon pottery class and made a bowl and a mug, and to say I am stunned at the results would be an understatement! Angus has the patience of a saint, is great at focussing a group of rowdy adults into complete studious silence once we all got stuck into our clay masterpieces.The studio space itself is absolutely glorious. Jane presides during the week over local artists work, and there are so many things to look at, touch and feel and ultimately buy. A great place for buying gifts and I highly recommend it.Well done to both Angus and Jane for bringing an old building back to life with a thriving hub of the square.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of a private pottery class with the wonderful Angus. As complete novices we were expertly guided by Angus as to how to create a mug and we had the opportunity to throw a few pots on the wheel - with varying success! It was a fantastic morning, the studio is gorgeous and Angus is a fantastic teacher - we absolutely loved it. Thank you Angus.

Fantastic studio and gallery with lots of interesting pieces from local artists. Plenty of smaller items for sale too such as mugs, placemats and prints. The owner was really knowledgeable and friendly as well!

Beautiful gallery. We visited during the recent exhibition 'The Forest' which was very nicely put together. It had an exceptional variety of work by local artists, including some by the studio's owner which gave a personal touch. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, it was a lovely experience. We purchased 2 pictures by a local artist which look good in our home, and were very securely wrapped for our 3-hour journey home. Thank you.
