Spacious, bright the day we were there, and loads of tv screens for sports watching. Staff friendly and quick to resolve complaints. However the food was slow to come out and of middling quality, but priced accordingly so good value. Dirty glasses covered every square inch of the bar counter but the bar staff seemed focused on chatting with customers, maybe to increase ratings, rather than clear off the counter. A good experience overall.

Been here alot for food and the last time I was here I ordered a XL mixed grill & when it was brought to my table the majority of it wasn't even hot, the onions on the griddle were like mush, and the chicken is disgusting!!! I did complain & got a new one cooked for me, the staff member(female) couldn't apologise enough, free drinks got offered to me. It wasn't her fault but her customer service was outstanding, It's actually put me of going back as the food was terrible.

Great place for a family day out,great offers on food with a wide range of items on the menu to suit all ages,value for money ,wide range of drinks also cater for us non drinkers ,had a fab time would recommend this place for good food good atmosphere and if you like sport there,s plenty of big screens around the premises 10/10

Christmas meal with the family. Ordered a Piri piri flat bread, chicken was pink. Complained and asked for refund. Paid for with bank card, refund had to be paid back the same way which I understand but the problem I have with this is…. My bank hold the initial payment of £26 then had to pay again minus the flat bread…. Almost £50 on hold from my bank for the refund. The Manager didn’t ask did I have enough funds in my bank to do this, he was rude and asked was I refusing to pay? I explained I didn’t expect to order food and have £50 on hold from my bank which is a strain this time of year, (no fault of my own) Not a bit of understanding of the situation, ordered a meal within my budget and leaving with almost double that being held from my bank. Shame on you

Went last night. Place was great. Young lad prepared a table for us, gave us advice on the menu. The food was superb, the menu is great. It was excellent and we will go again 100%

Ordered a XL mixed grill and asked for it to be well done with no pink. The gammon was really nice but the steak unfortunately was pink inside and the chicken was fatty and chewy so I never ate the steak or chicken. I told the server and all I got was I'm sorry about that. Spent £15.79 for a meal I couldn't eat. Don't recommend the food to anyone who likes there food well done. I left feeling hungry, just glad there was a chip shop next to there who I give 4 stars to. Recommend Highfield chippy instead.

We were a party of 8 including German guests. I have to say ALL the meals were disgusting. Mixed grills were so overcooked, despite requesting medium rare. Steaks and chicken dishes likewise. My child's meal of double burger was actually black. Unfortunately for the first time ever in this establishment no one came to check if the meals were okay. The service generally was pretty bad. It took an hour to get plates cleared but the glasses and the bottles just kept piling up.Would I eat here again definitely not. This place has gone down hill big style since the original manager left.

Came here with a group of friends today. We all ordered different meals and everyone of us really enjoyed our food. Very friendly staff, with a warm welcome and just a lovely vibe about the place. Nice Christmas feel aswell, just an all round a lovely pub. We will definitely be back next week.

The food was terrible, I honestly can't say one good thing about the food or quality. I would really recommend not going for food.The staff seemed friendly and the pub had a good atmosphere for drinks and socializing. But the food is probably the worst I have had in a long time.
