Excellent food, full of flavour. Excellent customer service from staff especially Isra she was really helpful giving the option to have a bigger table so we don’t feel too squashed. Also explained what was nice on the menu. The food arrived quite quickly after ordering. Overall good experience. Thank you

Went for a Christmas lunch with friends. The food was ok, overpriced and bland. Only thing Excellent was the decor.I ordered Hummus and breadJamming JambalayaHulk smash burger was just a plain bun and burger no lettuce or tomatoes still trying to figure out what’s smashing about the burger, I forget to asked the staff. £7.95 for a plain burger with fries and a drink. Those looking for an authentic African cuisine experience , won’t find it here.

Great tasting food especially the chicken. And a great atmosphere too. Lovely decor. Amazing facilities inside too like clean toilets and a prayer room. Food was slightly expensive but was very tasty. Overall very impressed.

Excellent Food with Authentic taste. Had a family meal in the restaurant with kids. We liked all the items . Kids became very fond of their spicy sauce and crispy chicken strips. Must try the Afrikana chips. Super tasty and spicy.

Food was decent. Slightly overpriced but tasty. Fruit drinks were just carton drinks in crushed ice and out of the 3 waiters who were there only 1 of them was on top of taking care of us. Probably a manager.

Simran served me and my wife when we went for the first time upon the opening in June. She was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and approachable making our experience so good we visited again in July!Food was spot on, I would recommend to sit upstairs because sitting downstairs espesh when it is busy you have all those waiting for a table just watching you.We went again at around 11.15pm which was really cutting it fine towards closing time and they still accommodated us with great polite service, delicious food and quality. I respect that and hence recommend this place. It is all halal. Both times we just walked in, the wait was not that long. What I recommend:Afrikana fries are beaut, so lovely the sauce is brilliant with a great kick.Chicken wraps are delicious.Chick n' bites were great starters. That's what cheese said was a delicious main, filling and generous portion size.

Wow.Flavourful perfectly cooked succulent chicken. The Jerk chicken is phenomenal.. possibly one of my favourite jerk chickens so farFried chicken is fried to perfection and the fruit punch is lovely, very refreshingSuch a shame both times I've visited I had a very small group (2 & 3) and was unable to try multiple items.I did have difficulty trying to book a table for 10 on a weekend, was told over the phone that I should be able to walk in (at 6pm) and when we arrived we were told we should have booked via email as they're too busy and due to this the 'service' is marked down although once seated the service is exceptional.Only suggestion would be a wing platter with 2 or 3 wings cooked in each sauce to allow all flavours to be testedThe place is also nice, with modern trendy deco and furniture, clean toilets as well as a small prayed room on the top floor with great acoustics, lol.Definitely recommend visiting this place

We visited Afrikana on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. It took more than usual the time to be acknowledged and shown to our table, but after that our experience was very good. The food was flavoursome and portion size was good. The Chit-Chats & Chicken platter as well as the lady fingers was more than enough food for two adults and two children. The platter had a good mix of fried and grilled chicken. The lady fingers were very crunchy and tasty, accompanied with a mango salsa. The restaurant is very clean and decorated well. The staff are also very pleasant.Would definitely recommend!

Nice ambience. The food was average overall. The starters of lamb chops and pulled beef tacos were lovely. Food took a while to come and service was slow but it was a saturday evening so I'd give it another chance maybe on a week day! The fried chicken was slightly on the dry side but the sides rice and peas and plantain were perfect. Milk cake was bellw average and I wouldn't order again.
