Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd

This company really did chew me up & spit me out. After giving up a lot to join them, I was left bitterly disappointed with the experience. A culture of egotism prevails strongly here, mindsets & working methodologies are still stuck in the 70/80’s. The attitude towards safety on some jobs & by some teams was very very poor. Snr management who are only concerned about the trajectory of their own careers and not the staff below them. The support from above was terrible, most snr managers were hiding seek champions. Was left to hang out to dry on multiple occasions, in front of the client too. The working ethos is to stack you up with work until you break or cry for help. Work/life balance (a good one) didn’t exist either. I urge anyone considering joining them to give it great thought & consideration. The only positives were a decent remuneration package & local work, that is literally it. *This is my own particular experience in the business unit I was working within, but an accurate & honest account all the same

A carry on film" company but much funnier!! Late starts and nice early finishing and some days no shows ........ must have been trained by Swansea Council LOL"

Poor management of the Bristol Metrobus north scheme. Not willing to resolve traffic management issues.

Wow.......

Terrible ! They have set up temporary lights on Llantrisant road and no one is manning them properly . As some of the contractors play oblivious on their phones the traffic is backing up in both directions up Llantrisant Road as far as St Fagans , queues through fairwater and Landaff ! The Radyr residents are unable to get their cars out of their own streets with the gridlock expanding . Children are late for school etc . Very poor organisation

Goodness knows how they've managed to mess about for so long on the Castell Ifor Bridge near Pontypridd, and couldn't even put up scaffolding which would withstand heavy rain and river water. Surely a national civil engineering company would get this kind of basic construction right? And, laughably, they now don't even have the skills to remove the scaffolding, because they're hiring a sub-contractor to do it. Seriously?
