Very impressed on my first visit! The staff are attentive and friendly from the second you walk in. Stewards were very helpful and efficient. Bar staff friendly and quick. Didn't eat this time, but the pizza looked superb and love the names of the menu! A great show added to a great little theatre, made a lovely evening.

What a fun night we had!! Rob Lea has amazing vocals and all the musicians played really well. Well worth seeing and I will definitely come back to see them again. Well done to all involved. The Pizza before the show was very tasty and a good idea by the Northcott.

Lovely venue, the staff were friendly and helpful. The panto was brilliant. The actors could be clearly heard, the songs were great. The dame was particularly funny. I would most definitely recommend it.

I watched Shock Horror with my dad and the show overall is brilliant. The acting is fantastic and really draws you in to the performance. The first part is little strange and I did wonder what I had booked! However, stick with it. It’s a great story, some funny moments and will definitely make you jump. Well done! The theatre is great and in a nice well lit area and always a plus that you can order drink for the interval.

Beyond the Barricade was an absolutely amazing show and this was my first visit to the Northcott Theatre and I was very impressed. Very clean and well laid out seating, great sound and lighting and the beverage facilities were really good too. I will definitely be back.

We came to the performance with no expectation of what to expect, apart from what we'd read in the synopsis. Totally blown away by the 2 performers, who from the first minute to the end were both captivating. The creativity from the movement, dance, lighting, sound and use of imagination to tell the story was brilliant. I real not to be missed performance. Well done guys. You were totally mesmeric.

Of course, Jack Whitehall was amazing to listen to, I say listen, as you could not see the stage at all from one of the seats we had, the other you could see the stage if the entertainer was on the edge and the other was still a big hit and miss!!! I do not advise anyone to book the restricted view seating in the Great Hall, on the balcony seats 1,2,3 I understand that these are advertised as restricted view, but restricted view usually means you can see something. I cannot believe that these seats are for sale. I have brought this up with the venue manager and their answer was they need to fill all seats, no refund offered for seat with no view. Absolutely gutted, and waste of money if you want to see the show!!!

Came to see Dawn French ( which was great ) it was my first time here and I booked second row , despite the theatres size it felt very intimate and comfortable. There is plenty of parking around however the closest car park gets full very quickly so then one needs to go to the other one which is a 5-8 minutes walk so not too bad either

The event we attended started and finished on time and was entertaining and informative. There was ample free parking on the University site with clear signposting. The venue had a much better food offering than we expected having not been there for some time. Toilets were clearly marked, not unisex, clean and with all necessary supplies. Queues for the ladies of course as with most venues. More cubicles would be good! Inside the auditorium, the sound was good and we had a clear view of the speaker. Temperature was satisfactory. Seats maybe a little hard after a couple of hours! On the whole though, this is an excellent venue.
