Great to visit and unbelievable that these places existed with people living in night and day to detect a nuclear bomb! Interesting piece of history.

A fascinating reminder of the potential horrors of The Cold War and the conditions The Royal Observer Corps would have endured in the event of a nuclear attack on the UK.It is a very small site and the exterior is immaculately maintained.Although the bunker itself was locked-up on the day of my visit, the small grounds have a bench on which to sit and relax on a warm, sunny day.I understand that the site has Open-Days and this is something I would imagine is well worth attending. I certainly hope to do so one day.There is no parking on site but it is possible to park on the grass verge approximately 100 metres away when the ground is dry.Overall this site is definitely worth visiting if you have an interest in recent and relevant history.

Was closed when I got there. Yet to go underground but attempting to make this happen.
