Possibly the best steak we’ve had the pleasure of cooking. Great produce and very helpful advice. Looking forwards to seeing how the short ribs turn out tonight! Will definitely be returning for more.

Best wild boar steaks I've had in a long time

We went in to ask a simple question. After standing in the queue we were pushed aside since we hadn't pre-ordered anything. We stood waiting for 5 minutes without a single one of the 5 members of staff so much as looking at us while people, we assume to be locals, pushed in front and were answered to immediately. We finally managed to ask who we needed to speak to, and we were directed to a man who seemed so out of it we believed he was drunk. he didn't acknowledge us at all and continued to joke with locals while we stood there feeling invisible. Again, All we wanted to do was ask a question surround the stock of a joint of meat. Left the store without so much as a glance from the butcher.

Really nice and friendly team who clearly love their produce. I've had some truly amazing cuts of meat from them. Beautiful rib eye steak that melts in the mouth to superb joints for slow cooking. Highly recommended

Always have a lovely experience when I visit this place, the man who serves at the butchers is always so pleasant and the fillet steak is the best I’ve ever tasted.
