First time at this site (not again), booked 2 gold plus caravans £1300+ for a weekend away. Our van not 100% clean and all clean bed linen clean but scorch marks on all.Son's van was even worse, hair & fluff all over the van and stunk of cigarette smoke.Went and spoke to reception staff that had no customer care talents and a couldn't care less attitude. Will not go back here again and will send a proper complaint in with pictures !

Terrible is the only word to describe it just finished my weekend here and I am massively disappointed upon arrival into our caravan the rug was stained with mud marks there were peoples finger nails or toe nails all over the sofa and the tv satellite never worked we called reception and told them and there reply was there’s a problem in the area like we’re stupid, worse excuse ever. The beds were so uncomfortable dipped in and springy me and my son couldn’t sleep the whole holiday my 5 year old son had to sleep on the sofa he was that uncomfortable. The arcade was small and rubbish and not filled up for the weekend people, most of the machines were broken and not good variety of toys in there could invest in some better machine and toys for the kids also topping up your claw machines would be a start maybe. Restaurant was not cleaned throughout our whole stay filthy and food and dust all over the floor every morning maybe hire a cleaner to do that every night like a normal customer service business would do, some of the bar staff dressed unprofessionally in tracksuits and look uninterested. Honestly overall just a horrible disappointing holiday i go to caravan holidays every half term and this one by far the worse never coming back again and don’t recommend whatsoever what a waste of money.

This is an additional review added to my initial review. I finally spoke to a representative of Seaview Holiday Park. I received an apology and admission that they had failed to follow up on our original list of problems with the caravan.Admitted we were given a caravan 2 downgrades from our initial reservation, a Gold Plus to a basic Silver. So far we have never received our 10% refund from the Birchington Site. The lady I spoke to from Seaview said they would love to have us return to their site to see how good it really was with a £40 discount coupon. Personally I think they have all failed to understand why we are complaining and also not happy at not receiving the 10% refund and the insult at asking us to book and pay for another week at Seaview with a insulting £40 discount which just about covers our petrol costs to Kent with some local travel included.I will not be altering my initial grading of this site and actually wish we had a '0' to choose from.Part way down the motorway from Lincolnshire to Birchington, Kent, we get a call. Our static mobile home was no longer available to us. Would we like a refund, hang on a sec, we are already travelling, or be downgraded to a different park, no where near our relatives that we were visiting and also, wait for it be downgraded in our accommodation. So there's 3 adults , 2 of whom haven't had a holiday in the UK for almost 16 years, due to living outside the UK, hasn't seen many of the relatives for several years. So a little dilemma. Oh and they would give us 10% refund. We were given no time to make a decision and no reasons or explanations why. So we argued the location and they offered us a site further away from our original location. But that would mean extra travel etc in our 3 full days with family. So we declined that option. We all 3 felt we were held over a barrel as we were on our journey and where would we stay if we took a refund. Our relatives all live in downsized homes due to age and couldn't put us up.So we ended up with a downgraded caravan. That was bad enough. But we did say we'd have the WiFi, a TV, the iron and ironing board we'd ordered. Dear me, it gets worse, no WiFi, supplier said that particular unit did not have WiFi. No iron or board had been supplied and the TV worked for all of 20 mins then we had no signal for the next 24hrs.We talked to the reservation service the night we arrived, we spoke to reception on site twice. And we ended our 5 short days, still with no WiFi, having to go fetch our own iron and board and at least the TV did hold its signal. Now the accommodation. I stepped or should I say climbed into the unit as it listed to the door. The veranda dipped every time you stepped onto it. Curtains were show curtains only except the front windows but, tiebacks were missing on at least one curtain on each window. Blinds didn't come down or didn't work easily. Most looked like they'd been in a hurricane. There wasn't a single piece of cutlery or crockery that equaled 6, the number of people the unit could accommodate. No electrical socket in the 2nd bedroom and only one in the master opposite the bed. No mirror in the ensuite bathroom. Whose toilet seat constantly slide almost off the toilet basin. There were 5 remotes, one had no batteries, one had a battery back missing, one battery back wouldn't stay on and no instructions on how to use any of them or what they were for. A firestick remote with no partner. The balcony furniture was in a dreadful state. We presented reception with a comprehensive list and we were promised someone would look into it. Not one issue was dealt with.Would not recommend this company to anyone.

This review is not about the holiday homes, just the clubhouse. Could give the club house 0 stars if possible. Bartender was so rude. Took all of our ids when half of us were not even visible. We was told to “give them all of our money” when paying by an employee with poor hygiene. Then we were served food by another anti-social mute employee. Didn’t even say “hello” or “enjoy”. He put the plates in front of us then left. Then had no mayonnaise or ketchup either. Avoid at all costs.

A very busy & closely packed together Caravan park/Holiday Lodges.Near to the sea & lots of local attractions & amenities, but for me, I felt like I was on a council estate, including hearing the music from the club house until 11ish, the noise from other residents" as they staggered hm etc& the complete lack of privacy & peace & quiet.Perhaps I'm unsociable or just private & enjoy nice things & when away look for peace & quiet. Each to their own
