Ben Russell Salon

I booked to get a colour refresh whilst house-sitting in Ilminster. I am so pleased with the result. Charlie did a fantastic job and I love my hair.

I've just had my first cut with Ben at his lovely salon and I cannot express how delighted I am with my new style.Ben is a incredibly talented hairdresser and has advised me on a very flattering new do.I'd throughly recommend a visit!

Had my first hair cut with Ben today. I am delighted with the result and wanted to say what a lovely guy he is. Ben was very friendly and knowledgeable and clearly very focused on making the whole experience a good one. It was, I have booked again and am looking forward to my next visit. I have tried a number of local hairdressers but Ben is truly a “breath of fresh air” and a “cut above”!

From the moment I walked through the doors of Ben Russell’s salon for my initial appointment I was amazed at how much time and effort had gone into creating such a calm and stylish ambiance, not to mention the welcoming smiley faces from the team. A colleague recommended this salon and from this point I knew the 1 hour round trip was worth it. After visiting many of salons Jaz is the most attentive stylist I’ve come across and her talent and mindset is second to none. Jaz got me to the colour I’ve desired for years. I asked Jaz to pop some ‘money pieces’ within my hair, I later decided when I arrived home they didn’t suit me as much as I thought - with absolutely no drama Jaz squeezed me in amongst her mad busy schedule over Christmas to ensure I was over the moon with my new look. She had me feeling like Beyoncé on leaving the salon. Jaz made the whole experience exactly what I’ve ever wanted from a hair dresser. I feel as though I’ve known Jaz for years only after a couple of visits; the way she treats you during your treatment is exactly the way you know she would her best friend. Worth every penny!! Keep doing what you guys are doing and I cannot wait to see what the future holds. Will forever be returning and recommending your beautiful salon :)

Having dense curly mixed race hair it's a struggle to find anyone who can handle my hair. Ben did the most amazing colour, cut and blow-dry! Cannot recommend him enough!

Never am I happier than when I’ve spent a couple of hours with Jazz. She’s so talented and lovely without even realising it. Her hair skills are insane and she always gets it right. So blessed to have such an incredible salon on my doorstep.

Where to start…. I’ve known Ben now for 15 years at least I was so pleased for him to hear that he had started his own shop back home. Although it’s an hours drive there and back for me I wouldn’t go anywhere else other than Ben Russell. service is amazing always!! Greeted like family an absolutely amazing team in the shop. Hats off to the man for making it himself and best of all making myself and people feel fantastic :)
