It's not just a golf club it's also a Park and Wildlife Area. My wife really wanted to see the Highland cows so we walk the trails and it took a bit but there are plenty up in the hills. She was so happy she started to cry. And before anybody gives us feedback we found a place to observe them and they walked up to us and around us.

Know we didn't go golfing but just popped in to see if our child could use the toilet and were refused. Shame place looks nice.

We went last week for the first time. The location of Swanston Golf Club is fantastic. The views from the restaurants are beautiful. We enjoyed a lovely sunset through the large windows. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. You have the option to enjoy your food indoor but also outdoor on a lovely terrace. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed by the food. It was pub-style food but not the greatest quality and not homemade. I suppose the price is justified by the views. We'll come back but for a coffee ;)

After a nice hike to see the Highland cows we headed to the Swanston Brasserie suggested by a local.The food is great. I suggest the haggis jalapeño pizza.

Challenging course being based on the side of the Pentland Hills but has possibly the best views of Edinburgh from any course in the city.Excellent little PAR 3 course if you don’t have time to play 18 holes and a fantastic new driving range and club fitting facility too.

Amazing course great place to get a bite to eat!! My son is a beginner and we hired a trainer. Alan watt was amazing. Great teacher!!! My son loved his instruction style, analogies were clear and concise. My son bought clubs that day he is now hooked on the game of golf. Alan made our trip to Scotland!
