Really nice Sunday Dinner we enjoyed roast beef, pork and chicken. Followed by strawberry cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. All the food was lovingly prepared and portions were generous. The service was excellent and the restaurant was in a beautiful location. We'll worth a visit thanks team.

Only went there for sandwiches etc following a funeral. Service pretty good, drinks perhaps a little pricey? Family members who live locally said new management big improvement over previous ones.

This pub used to be amazing. The staff were great and had a really lovely atmosphere. Not sure what's changed but this has now all gone, it's soulless and the food has gone really downhill. The new landlord is neither friendly nor seems capable of running what was a very decent pub. Shame as used to love regularly coming here.

Met a friend for a relaxed lunch. Nice and clean, relaxed service, no rushing. The food was good, a little confused but ok, I was told my chicken was stuffed with tomatoes, turned out to be spicy salami, fortunately I don't mind salami, just a bit of a surprise. It was busy and only one waitress in the bar area where we sat. A bloke came and stoked the fire, putting logs on. This made the room quite smoky, made my eyes water, and my throat dry. It did take a while to clear, and that wasn't good. We were told the wind was in the wrong direction. We did order a cup of tea with our dessert, but this didn't arrive. Overall, it was OK, we enjoyed our catch-up and had a bit of a giggle.

Very good food and service. The chef is more than helpful and obliging with any special diet or requests. Amazing take aways also catered for. My fish and chips were great with crispy home cooked chips and crunchy batter loved it.

Went for lunch on Sunday 26 Nov.Waited over an hour after ordering my meal, to be told that the kitchen had no more lamb. Eventually served a warm meal, not hot 15 mins later. Food was okay, but could be better. The service however was appalling! The waiting staff lost our order, then tried to tell us it was due to busy restaurant, and finally capped it off by refusing any sort of compensation. The owner was particularly offensive.Do not go on busy days!

Just had a one night stay at the Bluebell with my wife and the mutt. This is in an ideal location as a base for visiting Stamford, Market Deeping, Bourne etc. It is a lovely traditional pub with welcoming, attentive staff and landlord. We had a Sunday lunch which was plentiful and well cooked. The accommodation was lovely, in a separate block at the back of the pub. Comfortable beds, all very clean and well equipped. Had a very peaceful night's sleep and a lovely breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended.
