Amazing curry, one of the best I have had. The rice and nan bread was also top notch. We sat in but believe they also do takeaway. Will definitely be ordering again.

The palace used to be a lovely Indian restaurant the food the staff where lovely been for a takeaway tonight absolutely disgraceful the curry was dry and cold the nan bread was tasteless. .The lettuce was brown there a tiny piece of lemon along with a lonley piece of cucumber . The staff where not the usual friendly stafc it has deffo changed hands has new owners. Well i think you will loose a hell of a lot of customer's.

Since the restaurant has been taken over, the food has gone straight down hill. The food was horrible! The salad consisted of brown lettuce, small piece of lemon and one slice of cucumber? Awful. The curry was tasteless, dry and cold, as was the naan. What a shame, The Palace used to serve lovely food (it was our go-to) but we won’t be going back there again.

Ordered through Uber. Absolutely terrible mess. Just a little sauce he said spilled. Entire order had to be binned, everything was caked in korma and i couldnt touch the little what order was left. Tried to call them but nobody picked up. Had to show the state of the order.

Was passing through St Helen on the weekend and visited Palace Balti & Tandoori. First thoughts were that the place is warm and spacious. I asked to be seated by the windows as it was lit up with led lights and looked great.The menu has lots of options, I chose the lamb chops and onion bhajis for starters. The chops were tender and juicy, and the bhajis were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.For mains, I asked for a garlic chilli chicken with naan bread. The spice levels were just right.Overall, I really enjoyed my visit! Fresh, authentic curries served hot with sizzling starters. Would definitely recommend if you’re in St Helens.

Been coming here for years and food is as excellent as ever. Service is superb. Staff always friendly. Decor needs a bit of a tickle but nothing that spoils the atmosphere.

Haven't been for a while for no specific reason, but tonight decided to have a take away. Food was just amazing as always.Friendly staff, great atmosphere and fabulous food. It is a great place to dine in or take away.
