'O Ver St. James - Italian Restaurant
The waiting staff were generally good (except for taking away a half filled bottle of sparkling water) and the restaurant is nice. But their pizza was poor, which is supposed to be their speciality. My pizza had a significantly burnt crust and watery middle. I suspect they hadn't pre-dried the cheese, so it just left a completely watery, soggy base. On balance, the whole dining experience was so-so, but I wouldn't go back. The watery mess felt like too fundamental a mistake and there are much better pizzas to be had in London right now.

An Italian restaurant dedicated to cooking with only fresh, curated ingredients. Excellent food and service with a creative menu. The Tropea salad is made with garden-ripe tomatoes. I would come here regularly if if were 5000 miles closer to my home.

The food was excellent but the service was lacking tonight. Took 20 mins before they even took our drink and food order. After we ate, it took another 20+ mins to take our dessert order after they gave us a dessert menu. They cleaned the dishes and tables quickly though.. Just took forever to take orders. We weren't planning to, but ended up spending over 2+ hours there.

Fantastic food from pasta to pizza! Officially my favorite restaurant in LondonLiterally the best staff I have encountered in years - so friendly, welcoming, helpful and polite. Every member of staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make the experience wonderful.Lovely location to relax, sit and enjoy great food and drink.Best pizza I have ever tried. I am from Italy and traveled the world and still this is the best I have ever tried. The flavor of every ingredient, from tomatoes to mozzarella to olives, fresh basil and olive oil, absolutely shines through. Just fantastic.Thank you.

Located close to picadilly circus and a good location for pre theatre meal.Nice interiorHad the street foodSharing plate- three items which could be shared between three and definitely enough for two.Had the meat balls which was very nice.Good negroni’sGood service. Managed to have two courses in an hour.£188 for two courses for three persons which was a bit excessive for a pre-theatre meal!

Nice place, great service and ambience. One star lesser because the price was a bit steep for the portion size, and food was tasty but just too little in quantity to enjoy. Recommend the Pizza Ortolana for vegetarians.

Had a nice relaxed meal here. The margarita pizza with Parma ham and the tuna tartar were very nice. Relaxed atmosphere on the patio. Would recommend and return.

At O Ver St. James, Chef Giorgio's food is a culinary triumph. Patrick's wood-fired pizza is a must-try, and the staff provides superlative service. A perfect dining experience!
