Excellent service polite staff a very professional business

6 weeks Sewells have kept my car because the Police stopped me on 25/12/20 saying I was disqualified they allowed me to collect proof a judge overturning the decision ! But the officers took off leaving 2 other officers watching my car who weren't interested in anything I said. The arresting officers didn't give me a release form for 21 days only to find they haven't signed it day 32 days later its still not signed. I'm registered disable & live half a mile down a dirt track which has had snow & ice covering & ice & I had no mobile phone that because it was in my car. The half owner Dave said if I paid the recovery I could take the car but the secretary slandered my name believing the same officers who have had me going to the Police station 5 times waiting 45 minutes leaving empty handed then 1 hour 20 minutes outside to hand me the form unsigned! Alan Sewells secretary refuses to let me speak to Dave & wants me to pay about £750 storage fees rising £20a day & £150 recovery. I've been informed my car isn't released until the day its signed and it because until then Sewells aren't interested in what I say.I'm disgusted in the unprofessional manner the Police and Sewells have treated me in Covid lock down 4when a judge has overturned the ban and its because of this it could take 3 to 4 months to change the details at Dvla. I'm not the guilty party but I'm being treated like a criminal.I've also seen my window screen is smashed!! £400 to replace

My belongings from my stolen vehicle were recovered and held with this company but I was never notified they had them, when I rang to inquire the lady on the phone was a bit abrupt and didn't seem interested.When I picked my belongings up from the company they had simply been thrown into bin bags which were ripped, I had cd's and sunglasses in my car which were consequently all scratched and had to be disposed of.One positive is that one member of staff from the office offered to help me with my belongings down to my vehicle.
