Emergency Management Unit

I took my elderly Brother in Law to EMU on referral from out of hours G.P (this service was excellent) on arrival we were treated promptly, with Dignity and Professional competence. The Staff nurse who did an immediate assessment and entry tests was excellent. The on duty doctor was with us within the hour and ordered additional blood tests and conducted a thorough memory test, again Professional bur caring. Eventually a possible cause was found for my brother in Laws illness and he was duly admitted for further tests and observations. The whole unit excelled and is a credit to the Royal Hospital and the N.H.S.long may it continue. Thank you.
