The most amazing cake I have ever tasted!! The Cake Architect was absolutely incredible to deal with from the moment we enquired and the communication and attention to detail was flawless. They provided an incredible list of flavour options, which made it really hard to choose! In the end, we managed to narrow it down to 6 flavours we wanted to taste and we can hand on heart say they all tasted absolutely delicious. We ended up with a beautiful three tier cake with White Chocolate and Raspberry, Elderflower and Lemon, and Passionfruit Martini. It was a BIG hit among our guests! Lucky for us, we ended up with some cake left over which we brought back with us to Norway.If you want to be swept away with both the beauty AND the taste - The Cake Architect is the one! We cannot recommend it enough! We'll have to have another big event soon just so we can get another cake.

David created us a very unique cake for my husband's surprise Birthday party. I asked for something to include references to all his favourite films and it was perfect! My husband loved the cake and so did the guests. Thank you so much.

The things David can do with cake are outstanding. Our consultation was such a fun process, not least because of all the delicious samples, but the likeness he achieved in our toppers was a highlight of our wedding. Our cake was exactly how we imagined it would be, and it was brilliant.We’d recommend him to anybody without hesitation.

Absolutely beautiful wedding cake, that tasted just as good as it looked! The cake was gluten and dairy free, which was no problem for this business, it tasted as amazing as any other cake- which is rare with free from cakes.I highly recommend The Cake Architect.

David and Alison were a delight to deal with from our very first enquiry - helpful, responsive and gave great advice based on extensive experience. David and the team at The Cake Architect made our 1930's inspired wedding cake. We were kept in the loop from the planning stages to when the cake was due to be set up at our wedding venue. David was very attentive when we showed him different designs of cakes that we had seen and how we liked different aspects of them. He came back very quickly with an amazing design that encompassed everything that we liked. He was happy for us to choose different flavours for each tier (which were all delicious!), and was also happy to include a model we had painted of our cat!We would definitely come back for any future event cakes!

The name of this business is spot on. The cake makers here are indeed architects, sculpting absolute masterpieces! All you need to do is walk past their shop window to see this. We came across the Cake Architect's work at a relatives wedding in 2021. A towering three tiered woodland themed creation that was just epic to behold and delicious to boot!We wanted something fairly modest for our wedding cake - a plain white cake with edible and real flowers in a cascade and a little model our doggo Wally on top! We were worried maybe this might be a bit boring for an artist like David at The Cake Architect but we were not disappointed in the end. David was very accommodating to our ideas and we were very impressed with his professional manner when we went for tastings. And what a tasting it was! With so many different flavours on offer, we were really happy to choose three flavours very different to the usual chocolate and vanilla offerings you'd expect. We went for Summer Berry, Lemon and Elderflower and Mint Choc Chip! All three went down an absolute storm on our wedding day! Especially the mint!!Although the price was a little over our original budget we knew we were paying for perfection and were delighted to place an order! We could not have been more impressed with the outcome, which was delivered and set up by David at our venue on our wedding morning. It was more than just a cake it was a work of art which fit right in with our handcrafted arty theme. We just couldn't have been happier with it.We really cannot recommend The Cake Architect highly enough! If you are looking for an absolute dream of a wedding cake look no further!
