TAILORED PRESS DRY CLEANERS

I dropped off some curtains in the morning, paid a reasonable price and picked them up, nice and clean, the same afternoon… all which strikes me as an optimal dry cleaning experience. NB cash only.

Phoned today with a query, the guy who answered the phone went beyond what any of the last 6 dry cleaners I had phoned and explained why it couldn’t be done but helped me with an alternative that he didn’t even do in his dry cleaners. 5stars, recommend.ThanksJodie

Used this place for years

Took two shirts in. Came back more creased than when I took them in and one had a mark on it (see pictures). Shirts were brand new! Pretty disappointed. The man was nice, and they did a nice job on a veil we also took it, but would check what they give you before you leave the shop.

Had a hem done on a dress. Beautifully done and the owner was very responsive and friendly. I will use again.

The gentleman who owns this business is exceptional.He is fast, polite, professional, engaging, and completely on the ball.His prices are fair and the service is always 10 out of 10.I would absolutely recommend him to everyone who wants fast and friendly service.

I brought my curtains to the dry cleaners. When I took them back home and hang them, I realised that the blackout lining was totally damaged. I went back there trying to understand what happened. As soon as I said that there had been a problem, all what he did was talking to me in an authoritative way blaming John Lewis and arguing that he only did his job. I was really shocked by the way he addressed to me and I had to remind him that I was his customer. The conversation (him shouting at me) went nowhere. I would have expected a 'sorry that this happened, what can I do for you' attitude. I would have been more understandable. All he said was, here's your money back, go and see John Lewis to replace your curtains, rolled back my curtains in a ball and handed them back to me. Not the best experience. Even if he is right (John Lewis' faulty item) this is not a way to speak to customer when there is an issue. Very disappointed, will not go back.

Professional, friendly and always great tailoring when required.

They did a beautiful job of dry cleaning my Indian wedding outfits. Took real care over them and didn’t melt the sequins or ruin the fabrics. I’ve also taken my clothes to be altered here and they’ve done a fantastic job. Would recommend this dry cleaners & tailors over any other in the Woolwich area.
