I can't rate or thank this company enough! Our dishwasher developed a fault, it is a Miele and so we thought it would cost an arm and a leg to get fixed. The staff on the phones are friendly and helpful, they tried to get someone out on the same day but it worked out best for everyone for them to come the next morning. The engineer came and worked on the problem, eventually finding an answer which didn't need any spare parts! The price is fixed, no matter how long it takes to fix the problem, so I was not watching the clock. We will use House Appliance Repairs again with confidence!

They turned up within 30 minutes of me calling them. They fixed the element on our cooker (they had the part in stock on the van) and completed the job quickly and efficiently - and offered to replace it for free if the element goes again within two years. Excellent service.

Avoid this bunch of fraudsters and incompetents (wouldn't have given them one star but cannot 'post' this review otherwise). Not being able to repair our old washing machine, they said that they could obtain a replacement Miele with a 10 year guarantee at a reasonable price including fitting and disposal of old machine. Emphasising in several emails that we would only be interested if there was a 10 year guarantee, they reassured us that we would have it and so we ordered. They fitted it and when we put it on, the machine made an almighty noise and jumped around so much that it damaged the water pipe behind it and caused flooding -- the plug of the washer-dryer on top was pulled out of the socket. Turns out, they forgot to remove the transit bars which held the drum in place - total incompetence which is likely to have caused some internal damage to the machine. Then we discovered that Miele did not cover this model with a 10 year guarantee. On complaining, they offered their own 5 year warranty, which we rejected (by this time do not trust them to fulfil promises) - we wanted a refund for breach of contract. They have since not replied to emails and have blocked my telephone number so that they cannot be contacted. It seems from the reviews here that this is their 'go-to' method of dealing with their many complainants. Do not use them - fraudsters and incompetents.

When you need work done they come and do it quickly. Book you in pretty quick and charge a set fee for the job. They do rush the job though.My appliance broke again two months later so I asked for them to come out again (cause of their free one year warrentee so of course I wanted them to return) they booked in a time and date and never showed. I took a day off work and got a phone call six hours later saying sorry just couldn't fit it in. Rescheduled until next day... another no show. When you ring they do not answer. Finally got a new part fitted but didn't see a receipt for it.Then a few weeks later it broke again! Eventually after rescheduling many times I was told I needed a new appliance and they had one they could do for a good deal. I chased asking when it would be fitted and still waiting for a reply a week later. I've given up and ordered a brand new appliance which will be fitted soon! Loads of money down the pan fixing the old one... I feel like I got played and it was their intention to rip me off all along.Essentially if you need this company to come back out they aren't keen because they know it's under warranted and so won't get paid.For peace of mind I wouldn't recommend using this company. All the five star reviews must be for people who's appliance remained fixed... for now!

At 20 past 3 on Christmas Eve, our dishwasher developed a fault. I contacted House Appliance Repairs by email, expecting to hear back after the Christmas holiday period. Instead, they responded, quoted, and fixed the repair that evening. Outstanding service, excellent communication throughout, engineer was a top guy too! Would have no hesitation in using them again and recommending them to everyone.

What a terrible company! Service man was supposed to arrive at 3:45 to fix washing machine, by 4:45 I rang to see what was going on and the lady I spoke said she would ring back in 10 minutes, she never did. I rang back and then she claimed she was out of office and couldn't hear me and would ring me back in 45 minutes..... even though it was a land line number. I went onto their website and tried all available numbers- all either went straight to Tesco mobile answer service or were out of use, very dodgy ! Avoid at all costs! A bunch of time wasters with zero customer service skills. They do not deserve any business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGING YOUR PROPERTY.The engineer came to check for a suspected dishwasher leak in my flat which is tenanted. He never found a leak, but whilst moving the dishwasher out, he managed to make a big rip in my brand new vinyl flooring. He texted to apologise for making a small tag on the floor and said he'd waive the callout fee. When my tenant got home (she'd left a key out for him) she sent me a photo of the rip and it was actually big and in the middle of the floor. I emailed immediately asking for them to fix the floor by replacing the vinyl which had cost me £250 including fitting. They said they'd waive their callout fee and offered to send someone to glue it together. In the meantime, I had called the guy who fitted it and asked him if he could do a repair while we wait to get the floor replaced. I told the engineer that I'm not happy to accept it being glued together when the floor was only a couple of months old. Fair enough if it was already in a tatty state, but it was almost new! I've emailed and emailed and emailed for over 6 weeks. They just keep replying saying they'll get back to me. Then I got the engineer's number and called him and he finally agreed to pay for new vinyl, less the callout fee. I provided my bank details, but of course, he hasn't paid. I've emailed reminders several times, over the course of the last few weeks, but he's ignoring those.... They may do an ok job with an actual repair, but when things don't go to plan, they don't want to know. AS OTHER REVIEWERS HAVE SAID, DO NOT USE - THEY DON'T CARE AND JUST IGNORE YOU!!

Repaired my Bosch washing machine in November spent over £200 on it. Told warranty for twelve months on labour and parts. February and machine starts making exactly the same noise again. Phoned three times for help and each time they promised to get back to me with a date for a visit, but they never called. When I did speak to engineer he said it was not the same problem as before without even looking at it! Very disappointed after what I thought had been a good experience last year.

I needed an oven repaired in Haywards Heath and I was abroad. House Appliance answered my call at 19:30 on Tuesday, gave a an estimated quote based on my discription saying they would contact me if it was more. They spoke directly to the tenant that evening to arrange an appointment the following day. They replaced the element and light all for £95 including call out charge and a twelve month warranty. All done by 10:00 on Wednesday within original quote which I was invoiced by email. Tenant is happy, I’m happy.

Called them out to repair my dish washer, they advised me to buy a new one which I did. This machine was faulty it did not wash. They did not answer phone calls and delayed coming out. It took 6 weeks of pestering before they eventually collected the machine giving me a refund less the fitting charge. So why would you want to use them ?
