Short walk that takes you to the top of the hill to the remains of a prehistoric fort. You can park in Echt and walk to the foot of the hill in around 30 minutes, then up the hill in around 20 more. The view from the top is a nice 360° of the surroundings and it reacher pretty far. The path can be a bit tight between gorse and heather bushes, but it's not hard to follow. Nice experience overall

It can be quite difficult to access unless you know where the paths are, however the views across Aberdeenshire are worth it at the top.
