We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. Andrew was so helpful and accommodating over the phone, squeezing us in at fairly short notice. The atmosphere is perfect and the food was seriously good. Attentive and non pretentious service and Daf went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and looked after. Thank you so much for a lovely evening. I hope many more people will get to experience and enjoy this little gem on Wellfield Road!

Extremely delighted with our first visit to Silures. The service is excellent and they made my Dad's birthday very special. The food is first rate. My starter was absolutely delicious. My main, my fav, fish n chips was enormous and so tasty. I had to share some with my hubby, the fish was so big. No complaints from my husband. We couldn't fit pudding in, which I was a bit sad about. The wine was also fab. So happy that this lovely restaurant is so close to our home. We will be back. Thank you Silures for making my dad and family very happy.

To call this a brilliant neighbourhood spot somehow doesn't do Silures justice. Occupying a buzzy site on Wellfield road, the atmosphere is vibrant and sophisticated. Service was perfect - attentive without being overbearing. But the standout was the food - every dish prepared with attention to detail and a point of difference. Delicious and creative cooking that we will definitely return for. A seriously good foodie venue.

Our dining experience at this restaurant was exceptional! The mussels and Atlantic oysters made for a perfect starter, and the game pie and wild sea bass was incredibly delicious. Ending. Big thanks to the wonderful team; we'll certainly be returning!

Superb!!!One of the best restaurants I have ever experienced.Went on Saturday evening for a family dinner on my friend's recommendation.Everyone just loved the amazing food and stillish decor.Don't find my words to describe how pleased we are with the experience had.I just had to return on Sunday to experience the roast. Everything was just delicious.Bar staff are very experienced. Their cocktails are just amazing I had few Hemingway Daiquiri which I strongly recommend trying.

We booked this for a friends 50th. It was fairly quiet when we arrived at 5pm. Menu changes regularly and what I ordered was full of flavour and delicious. The strawberry dessert which came with a glass of speaking rose, was delightful! They also had an oyster & wine event on the terrace, was I thought was a lovely touch for summerSlight disappointment in that I had brought balloons as part of the birthday celebrations & was informed that they do not allow them as they ruin the ambiance….even though we were right at the back with no one sat next to us.They did relent after we pressed them on the matter and the remainder of the service was impeccable. Look forward to returning for Sunday lunch.

We had a wonderful meal at Silures the other night. The atmosphere was great food was amazing and service was speedy and professional. Cocktails are really tasty and they have something for everyone on the menu. I had the duck and it was so good I didn’t want it to end.

Excellent food, wonderful service!Food was amazing - the cote de boeuf was delicious - tender and mouth watering! The starters were sublime - the burrata, Orkney scallop ceviche and the crab on toast! Chloe was our server who made the experience seamless and enjoyable! Was reasonably priced, definitely felt like paying for quality!

Had a brilliant experience here. Used to come here every Monday before it was taken over and became Silures.They're closed Mondays so not had the opportunity to experience their food but we had a child free evening Friday so jumped at the chance of booking a table.They didn't disappoint - the atmosphere, the welcome as soon as we got through the door, the food. It just all worked so well together.Definitely be coming back for more - on this occasion I settled for the steak, I ordered the ribeye, but think I was given the sirloin, as long as I had a steak who cares. My partner went for the Risotto and cauliflower soup starter.
