I always enjoy my Greg's breakfast (sausage and red sauce with a latte). It makes my Friday. Highly recommend it to anyone

Sausage roll bought in store today must be cross contaminated with something of spicy origin. To clarify, a sausage roll was bought for my toddler who gestured it was hot(was cold) however I took a bite and yeah, very spicy even for me and I’ve ate all sorts of spicy foods from jalapeños to Carolina reapers and can compare the spice to that of a madras. Now imagine a 2 year and 4 month old taking a bite and the discomfort and swelling it caused…

If the other branch round the corner is closed for refurbishment it surely makes sense to realise that the one remaining open branch is going to be seeing double the footfall. Therefore the staff levels should be sorted accordingly to deal with the excessively long queue out of the door and onto the high street. Leaving one man on his own at the counter isn’t good management, whilst he is doing a great job, he should not be expected to manage queues of 20-30 people all who thought they’d get a quick Greggs before work. Management skills in creating workable rotas maybe need some work perhaps in this branch, also the large blonde lady who I think is the assistant manager, but never wears a name badge so you can’t identify her, very much needs a bit of an attitude adjustment, stomping about the place looking miserable and in a permanent huff is not a good look, and if she ever lowers herself to serve at the counter she is very rude and abrupt and continues to stomp about including shoving your food at you. They should also focus more on the customers queuing than the never ending stream of delivery orders that wrongly take priority.

This place sometimes has napkins and sometimes doesn't. They don't supply you with anything to eat your food with and hands can get very greasy without napkins. Also I asked for a steak bake on another visit and shop assistant handed me on from table already in a packet, and it was stone cold. When I questioned this, assistant said they're all cold this time of day, 2pm and just said sorry" but just saying it. Should've have offered me something else

A really nice greggs cafe. Looks really nice and modern inside and the staff are really friendly and don't make you feel rushed.

Facilities are disgusting. Clearly never get checked. Went in at 9am and no toilet roll and no hand soap. Surely this is the first thing you do before opening up the shop and also should be checking and cleaning every 2/3 hours.

This place is situated at the top end of chesterfield not far from the crooked spire and the tourist information centre. Face west with the spire to the back of you, walk roughly 50-60yrds down the high street towards the market. You will see this place on the right side opposite H Samuel jewellers. Was once owned by Burton's men's fashion. Nice friendly staff. Clean & tidy. seating in and outside. Public toilets. Lovely pasta pots. Do pizza slices. pastries. sandwiches. Crisps. Variety of Buns.Hot & cold drinks. Eat in or take away option. Good affordable prices. Do choice of early breakfast food too. Love this place!
