Did a 12 week programme with Sean, really helped boost my confidence in the gym and made me realise how important form is when lifting and also how important nutrition is. Had a good laugh every session whilst being pushed to get every rep in. Couldn’t recommend Sean enough as a trainer / coach!

Having not really stepped into a gym before, but needing some help with a back problem, I was a little unsure what to expect; but Sean put me at ease immediately. Sean worked at a level of detail that astonished me; seemingly being able to watch every muscle I have and positively suggest posture changes to optimise the exercise in question. Sean has a great sense of humour and the sessions were a lot of fun - and highly individualised to my needs/goals. Sean's motivation and enthusiasm is infectious and I have now incorporated S&C into my own daily life. Highly recommended.

Sean has been brilliant from day one , I was nervous about starting PT sessions , but he made me feel super comfortable and relaxed about being out of my comfort zone. The first thing we discussed was eating habits and a clear lack of water in my life! He was very detailed about what we should work towards and ensured that everything he suggested was right in my head too. We took it at my pace to start but he pushed me each session after and I’ve felt so much improvement. If you want a trainer who doesn’t just make you do the obvious, but cares about the progression and knows when your posture and positions are not quite right, then this is the guy for you. I’ve not met a gym instructor or PT that has such attention to detail and it’s something everyone needs, especially if you’re having muscle issues or back problems like me.Would 100% recommend. A bonus is he’s friendly and easy going too.

It would be fair to say that I'm not a natural fan of exercise or gyms, but with age advancing it eventually becomes clear that something needs to be done! In my case, at 62 years old, the prospect of a Winter Sports holiday forced me to do that something. Gym training was the obvious choice, but how to get over the inevitable decline in enthusiasm and attendance after starting? So, I got lucky and found Sean, my first and probably only Personal Trainer. I explained what I was trying to achieve along with the timeframe. Sean did some in-depth questioning on my current fitness/activity along with some indirect investigation into my lifestyle habits. My aim was to improve leg strength, but Sean pointed out that it was only part of the problem and that core strength and balance were going to be as important as the legs. From that point Sean has constructed a set of bi-weekly training sessions. He also went to the trouble of researching exercises that were more aimed at body movements associated with skiing. Three months on, I am really pleased at the results. Each session has been a different combination of free exercises with/without weights and exercise machines, along with balance exercises. Sean asked that I should do some of the free exercises at home along with an extra solo session in the gym for aerobic fitness. I'm reasonably compliant in doing the extra stuff, but he doesn't give me a hard time if I have been slacking! Sean takes great care that the exercises are done safely, while at the same time quietly pushing you on to the next level. He carefully records what you can and can't do each week and I have hardly noticed that the weights or repetitions have increased each week. Sean has great communication skills and is ready to adapt exercises that give trouble, so that there is always a sense of achievement by the end of session. Its clear that he understands the mechanics of the body and demonstrates exercises well before asking you to repeat. Sean takes PT very seriously, but the sessions are light hearted and the time goes fast and there is always friendly conversation to be had. I've not felt asked to do more than I feel comfortable with at any point. I'd be happy to recommend Sean to anyone looking for an engaged, intelligent and professional Personal Trainer.
