Have come down to Newquay for a few days for a short break. My partner and I really fancied a burger so searched up local places. We went with Herd and wasn't disappointed. Really friendly staff and nice atmosphere with some music in the background. I went for the double beef (brisket and beef patty), honestly was one of the best burger I have had. The sauce for the brisket was lovely. Had it along side the cheese fries which were also lovely. Couldn't fault anything, was a nice bonus that they had a beer and IPA on tap. Would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing. Went to HERD last week and still thinking about it and wanna go back. Dirty fries are hands down the best I have ever had. Delicious and no skimping on the loaded goodness. Burger was amazing too as you can see I almost finished it before the picture was taken, it was soo good. But loaded fries was the star of the show.Must go. Staff and super friendly and nice. Helped a older couple order while we were there and was very informative. Not a long wait and in my mind great value for money.

The cheeseburger was DELICIOUS! WOW! I had it bunless on a plate with their secret sauce, superb, onions and pickles. The fries, chips, were crispy and perfect, just perfect!

Visited while on holiday. Ate in the restaurant. Best burger and chips we've had in ages. Food was cooked fresh, the burger was meaty and juicy, bacon was flavourful, the bun held together and the mustard wasn't too strong. The fries were beautifully crisp and well seasoned. Staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait long. Just sorry we weren't here long enough to go back for a second visit.

Brunch for two today, bacon, sausage and egg muffin. All very high quality, and tasty.Low score on service for lack of speed.. took 20mins for the above muffinsAtmosphere: chilled, light and airy upstairs.

First time in Herd since I heard about it on the vine... a burger specialist doing great things we had to try and glad we did. Lovely touches for me were music, couple of beers on tap, dog friendly and lovely open doors so we could catch the afternoon sun. I would say the burgers were unique! Not your cookie cutter uniform patty this was prepared for me and yours would be prepared for you. I went with a brisket burger and my son a double cheese burger. He positively commented and we overheard other kids saying it's better than .... you know the one. I would say there not in the same league. If you lucky you can park outside or Sainsbury's car park is right there. Service was quick food was hot. Jarred served us he's a cool guy couldn't do enough.
