Went to the Bar on Saturday as part of a Christmas staff party. Service was great and the food was great. The festive Beef burger was incredible and the homemade chips were yummy. Great atmosphere too would definitely recommend and will be back.

When I discovered this place by the marina, I thought people came here mainly for the atmosphere and the opportunity to observe the open space at the mouth of the river. However, the dinner was amazing! The swordfish is a very good size, perfectly cooked (a real hearty steak), nice texture, no aftertaste and with a good selection of juicy vegetables.The service is impeccable.Many thanks to the waiter who made my visit very comfortable! Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy small pleasures!

Fantastic place to eat, the manager is so professional and friendly, would eat every night if we lived in Nayland. You must try it, the menus is so large and amazing food, can't wait to go back again soon. Seafood platter is to dry for.

Food from The Bar is ALWAYS delicious! Never ever had a bad meal - every time it's so scrumptious and fresh - service is great, prices are good, decor is great. Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely meal, plenty of food, you'd never go home hungry! A little on the pricier side, but it's a nice place overall.Downside: my mum & uncle who both need walking aids found it very difficult to get up the stairs. No elevator for disabled guests.

We booked a table for 30 for a special birthday dinner and they were absolutely brilliant. All the food was excellent and the service was attentive and expedient throughout.

Nice spot but out of the way. Quite warm in the sun as its a bit of a greenhouse. Food wasn't bad but the chicken burger I had came on a toasted bun with just the chicken and salad so it was very dry. The bun had no sauce on it and was toasted like you would with a toaster. Highly recommend using a griddle with some butter and absolutely add the spicy mayo on both sides of the bun. Chicken could have been thicker as that was also a bit dry.Aside that, everyone else including a toddler in the group was more than happy with everything else. Certainly worth a visit if you're in the area.
