Brighton and Hove CBT

This was my first experience of counselling, and I’m so pleased I landed here - Sally was immediately a good fit. I was able to see my previous patterns of thought had been overly critical and negative, this was shown to me without being patronised and with empathy. I felt listened to and my feelings validated. I now look back on my life as before and after the course of therapy, so distinct are the positive changes.

Would not recommend this therapist, although initially she seemed helpful she lacked any form of empathy or understanding of the complex issues presented and came across as dismissive. She did accommodate my budget however after my first session with her she was rude, cold and made me feel like she didn’t have time for me and that I was stupid which is not what I am looking for when I am seeking help to overcome my issues. I am sure she has been helpful for some people but based on my experience I would not recommend. One positive is she refunded me for my advance sessions quickly and without argument hence my giving her two stars and not one.
