LPOD Academy

I can not praise LPOD enough for helping our son at VERY short notice (due to getting a cancellation) to pass his driving test 1st time. And so many thanks to Becky for taking him.

Becki was great. Excellent communication and really helpful. Helped our son pass first time following lockdown on the first day the test centres reopened!She went out of the local area to allow him to experience different types of roads, not just endlessly pounding the “test routes”. Covered Motorway driving (yes allowed since 2018)too. As parents we really felt that every base was covered and we noticed the daily improvement in confidence and road craft.I can not recommend highly enough.Thank you!

We are very pleased with the service provided by the LPOD academy to enable our son to pass his driving test first time. The administration of the test (practical and theory) was efficient, the diving instructor recommended (Victor) was excellent. Overall, although clearly more expensive that sourcing tests, instructors and managing ourselves, it was well worth it given the post pandemic issues of driving test availaility. This was all sorted out for us by LPOD academy. Recommended.

Awful company, please please please don't be tempted to book with them, I know the wait is long to get a driving test but try and snag a cancellation and do it that way rather than choosing this company. ESPECIALLY if you are in Surrey/Sussex! Avoid Deborah Gething like the plague, massively unprofessional, unsafe driving instructor who is late, unreliable, and uses her phone constantly whilst she is supposedly teaching. Please please don't do it.

Please do not use this company, if you are lucky enough to be placed with a good instructor great. I thought was placed with one who has a history of lateness, cancellations and taking your money without providing lessons. Lpod clearly didn’t carry out any due diligence and had no interest in assisting me. Basically have lost £2500, shameful company and the instructor Deborah Gething of Crawley who I was placed with

I was a bit sceptical at first of what sort of service they could provide at the price I was quoted but I needn’t had worried.As we know these past few years have been very difficult for trying to get a driving test date, my Sons test date moved 3 times in 6 months but from day one to the day of my Sons Driving test, I was kept updated, informed and given options. I had booked an intensive course for my Son so the fact that that was all taken care of by Lpod was very impressive.I would recommend them highly.

Don't go with them I paid for 50 hours and they gave me a driving instructor who cancelled on me multiple times was late almost every lesson would constantly talk about her personal life which was off putting because of the nature of the topics being of a sensitive nature, and the car constantly smelt of cigarettes and after 20 hours of lessons with her i asked Lpod for a new instructor they refused and told me to deal with the instructor but they do not have to refund me so i was stuck with her. Also, as I had booked prior to the first lockdown and was unable to do hours during that time I got a threatening email saying they would cancel my lessons as I had gone over the time limit. Obviously as there were 2 lockdowns I could not do anything about this. When I had someone call them, they answered and a standoffish woman was being aggressive on the phone saying I was not a priority anymore as I had already paid in full and it was a long time ago and that new customers were more important, the woman also tried to claim I was on medication and had not declared it which I was not. The reason for this call to Lpod was simply to complain about the instructor and ask why they had cancelled again and this question was avoided 5 times until they finally made up an excuse. As well as this my instructor cancelled a test at short notice in favour of another student that she believed would pass. At the end of 40 hours she told me I was not ready and I had a driving test the next day and that she would not allow me to use her car for it. She said she would hold back the hours with the expectation of me failing. I did not fail and when informed of this I was not offered a refund for the 10 hours not used. I took a few hours driving that night with my friend and gained alot more confidence than I had ever got from the instructor who only took me on the exact same route every lesson*Response*Unsure of why you want my information because you didn't handle anything when I was dealing with you? From start to finish, every aspect of learning with the lpod academy was on point and efficient with email support, advice, help and pairing me with an excellent instructor.I couldn't recommend lpod enough for anyone thinking about booking intensive lessons.

They booked my practical test and got me an instructor and lessons as expected. The instructor was excellent. After being unsuccessful on my first test, LPOD quickly rebooked me another and I passed on second attempt. Thank you LPOD Academy.
